Services aren't games. Services are software meant to drain your wallet. I've never bought a season pass and I haven't bought dlc in 10 years. I've never purchased microtransactions either. If people stopped buying the shit it would go away. Apparently people like it.

Halo has been dead since H4. 343 is the worst AAA (I use this term lightly with them) studio in the industry. Those clowns couldn't even port the old Halo's to Xbone without shitting the bed. Every change they've made to the franchise has been for the worse and has contributed to the series' decline in sales, scores, popularity, poor player retention, etc.

But Halo 5 already had mtxs and it did incredibly well.

Halo as the king of FPS is clearly a thing of the pass, but it is far from dead.

I bought an Xbox one X since all my legacy games are playable on it (most in 4k patches), best games of this gen are in high detail and near 4K and I simply love the Halo/Gears/Forza trio.

BUT, since Halo Infinite will come to Xbox one X, I feel that finally moving over to the Playstation 5 is the best move. I will always keep my X1X on the side, but if PS will have full BC the switch from Xbox to Playstation is an easy one to make. PS philosophies on keeping hardware and games traditional with many more exclusives looks promising. I would have the X for my legacy games and the PS for the exclusive single player games.
