Now that the best version of COD is on PS4

does it change lemmings choice of which console to buy? It is no secret that COD is the only game Xbox fans really play. Even Halo is not among the top 10 played games anymore.

When it get's DLC first then people will jump ship till then Xbox is where you play COD

Cod looks the same on every system.

Call of duty was only ever really good when it was in the WW2 Era.

That said, i certainly think the real visual difference in hardware of the two consoles has made a great impact on peoples choice of gaming console.

Call of Duty a relentlessly fun experience and there is a reason why it sells the way it does across all platforms. The PS4 version has 1080p, the Xbox One has 720p upscaled. All my buds are getting the One, and I am as well for the exclusive games and features. The PS4 games run at a higher screen resolution. But the Xbox One has better games in my opinion.

I'll give you an example, all my personal friends who play COD, do not even visit a single gaming site, let alone the forums to read nonsense such as this. I believe I'm the only one who gives them info when it comes to gaming. My friends called me up and said, "Bro...Are we getting the new XBOX, COD is coming out" lol You're right though, COD is solidified with the XBOX brand and regardless of these resolution differences, nothing is going to change my friends. In a few months when the numbers are tallied up, you will see the X360/X1 combo will sell more than the PS3/PS4 of this game as well as BF4. COD 2 was an excellent game. COD 4 had a nice campaign but a broken multiplayer. The rest were incredibly.... meh? Well I haven't played the past 3 cod games..

I really couldn't care less. I probably won't ever play the game.

I feel bad for lems these day so ill defend them for thing one time and expect to be payed (looking at mems and timbers right now). Call of Duty is the absolute LAST game i would rely on to chose my console of choice. Even if X1's version was running in 4k and ps4's version in 900p, all i'd say is f*ck this shit and rely on other sources to chose my system.

PS4 is best version? Really? Awesome. So I can play it at 1080p 60FPS with custom user made maps and mods just like I can on the PC? No...then who the hell you think you are fooling claiming the PS4 has the best version. Keep dreaming kid, keep dreaming.

Even the devs said the PC version has its own set of textures, which is astonishing really... 120fps plus gameplay is just so, so much smoother. Not to mention the superior control method, mod support, etc :)

I think it matters, how much is very hard to say. It's the most clear demonstration of Ps4's superior power. Even people who know nothing about tech know what 1080p is because the bought a flatscreen TV in the last couple of years. A number being bigger than another number, that's an undisputable proof in many peoples minds. And since the PS4 is cheaper a lot of people will think "I don't want to pay more for less".
