NPD numbers show that PS3 has won the console wars

I mean friggin 80k sold!!!!! Imagine what it will sell when FPS games like Killzone 2 or accion games like Genji 3 come out... What does the competition have.. Halo 3..? or another slew of multiplatform shooters like Call of duty 4 and Medal of Honor Airborne..

ill tell you.. this fall when random game comes out on the PS3.. the PS3 sales will be even better then that 80k number...

We can basically say that Sony already won..

Again don't be so judgemental so fast as of this point noone is winning!!Just wait a couple of years to see what really happens for now enjoy what you have.

But of course we can't be 100% sure.

I mean, we don't whether or not consumers will ignore FFXIII, GT5, GTAIV, MGSIV, Madden, Burnout,
Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, God of War III, White Knight Story, and RE5 on one console, so we just 
gotta wait and see. 

My guess is that they don't ignore the games. 

Like I said before, the ps3 is off to a slow start just like the ps1 and ps2 was after launch, but will pick up quick once all the games come along, then u will see the ps3 start selling like hot cakes. I predict we will see a number of ps3's fly off store shelves this holiday season when u got amazing games coming out for the system. Uncharted Drake's Fortune anyone. :)squallff8_fan

The PS1 and PS2 had slow starts with no competition around since they launched early. The PS3 is stacked up against Wii and 360 right off of the bat this time.

And Drake's Fortune will not sell. AT ALL. 

Still, I plan to get a PS3 for Bluray.

I agree.. games like Bluedragon, Lost Odyssey, Fable2, Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Super Smashbros Brawl and Halo3 are falling flat.. they will sell like 1 copy while any sony game on the PS3.. and yes im also counting in super rub a dub.. will sell 1 million copies day one..

PS3 will sell another 80k next month.. (an astounding achievement) and keep stomping on Nintendos and Microsofts graves

I think nintendo was never in the equation anyway.

It is a radically different piece of hardware.

You still think the PS3 will turn around? To each their own I guess but IMO you will be wrong. 80k in a MONTH! When the Wii sells 100k in one WEEK in japan a SMALLER region. This month the PS3 got outsold like 4:1
