Oblivion vs GTAIV

Oblivion is more fun and harder. GTA is shorter and easier.

i had way more fun on oblivion .. more variety

GTAIV was good .. especially visually and the detail of the city, but too repetitive, which was a huge surprise considering the variety of missions in the past 3 GTAs

Oblivion is good except for one problem the gameplay. The fighting is pretty bad at first it's ok but then it gets repetitive very fast especially since you can learn the enemies patters really quickly is just block and hit. It is more immersive than GTA4 since Oblivion has much more detail but the downfall of all these elderscrolls is always the combat system. GTA4 has a great combat system that focuses on cover. For me the combat system of GTA4 never gets old. It's very action packed. And online keeps it fresh. I do prefer GTA4 over oblivion since I can't never get my self to finish oblivion because I get bored of the combat.

It really comes up to wether you like combat(GTA4) or Exploration(Oblivion).

I played Morrowind after Oblivion, didn't like it one bit. I dont care if people say they dumbed down oblivion, to me it was a lot more fun. But I also have a lot of friends who tell me they would play Morrowind over Oblivion any day.

Morrowind was terrible IMO. The combat system was horrible, and it was extremely boring.

Oblivion by far.

Well, despite my hatred for it, at least while playing GTA IV I didn't feel like someone was pissing in my face, something I can't say for Oblivion.

Daggerfall had everything Morrowind and Oblivion had, and then some.

But it is so true.

I think Bioshock is the only man on this Earth who would prefer GTA IV over GTA SA.

Oblivion is a thousand times better than IV.

GTA IV is better, per se. Oblivion can be a lot more fun and immersive, though. GTA IV is the most fun with a friend while taking turns being killed. That's from my experience, anyway.Nightscaper_Guy

SA was my favourite game of all time, I've never been so hooked onto a game before. It was absolutely amazing.

gta games are good for short rampages but Oblivion and other wrpgs i just cant stand so as i dont love GTA games they are fun in small bits unlike Oblivion
