Let's not go crazy here.  It's the best looking Wii game I've seen, and looks to have great lighting, but it looks too much like a RE clone.

you seriously think those shots are on par with 360/ps3? LMAO. Cmon lets get real.  I can see that they ARENT on par in those tiny shots...just wait til the larger ones come out and it looks even worse.

Graphically speaking, it looks very similar to Obscure on XBOX.

Not terrible at all, but nowhere near the 360's level. I think alot of Wii fans are kidding themselves about it's capabilities and also forget that it's only able to output at 480p. It will never be able to rival the other two consoles. That being said. it looks good for a Wii game.

My real issue with Obscure 2 is that the first game really wasn't very good at all unless you were looking for a clone of the original Resident Evil.

Don't hype this game, it may turn out good, but most previews for games make them look good, and based on how 'well' the series has done I wouldn't get your hopes up.

The original was nothing to rave about. I doubt this will be any different.

The original may not have brought much to the table, but what it did were high-quality meals. Sure, the plot was derivative and al ot of the concepts were cliche, but adding in co-op, multiple characters, and alternate endings (based off who got killed) was a heck of a step forward for a company which had no previous game experience. Co-op play is something that, I feel, survival horror games should definitely have. There's something to be said about picking through rooms and fighting monsters when you have a friend there.

Just looked at the review for the first one, and I don't really see any reason to get excited.  And... wtf, it's coming to PS2 also?  O.  K.   :?

hrmmmmm, graphics haters are owned?

Maybe you haven't played the uptodate games so far......this system has no possiblity at owning anything in the graphics department.  Are the graphics ok, sure.....unless you compare them to a real game on the PS3/X360 on an HD TV. 

If we are talking on a non-HD TV, you might actually have a point.  The graphics wouldn't look that much better on a PS3/X360 however we are dealing in reality.  You can't buy a TV without some sort of HD component these days (at least I haven't seen any lately).  In a year or two when the majority of people own a HD TV, this advantage is going to be huge for the X360/PS3.  Nintendo should have bit the bullet and made the console with HD features.......it was a mistake that will make sure Wii is primarily played by non-gamers.
