Which game is better? Zelda Ocarina of time or Metal Gear Solid 4?

I haven't played OOT in a long time, so it's difficult to properly judge. Honestly, I wasn't really impressed with MGS4. It lost it's "wow" effect on me after a few weeks.

MGS4. But honestly, completely different genres, very different generations.

But the point isn't really which one is better, fanboys just need to accept that MGS4 is one damn remarkable game, You may not like the Stealth Action genre but seriously, that's no reason to bash the game. MGS4 is one of the most astonishing games of recent times and perhaps all time.

Of course OoT is a horribly overrated game, I've got to add that. Still, both games are worthy of LEGENDARY status, deal with it, MGS4 haters!

The most fun Ive ever had while gaming, was playing OoT. I truly think that for its time, it was a masterpiece. it couldnt have done anything better.

Zelda OOT = a Genre defining game. This game has basically defined 3D adventure games since release to this day Vs MGS4 = a Good franchise. Hmmm.... Dibdibdobdobo

MGS4 isn't genre defining? I mean the genre only has 2 franchises and MGS makes Splinter Cell look like a joke.

Never liked the Zelda games.

And MGS4 is the second worse MGS in the main series imo.

OOT had a bigger impact on me. so if i was stranded on an island with only one of these two games i'd take OOT.

I never liked the LoZ series. OoT is no exception.
But yeah, the comparison is kind of funny. Ask again in 10 years.

For me MGS4 is a linear, confined, tedious and boring experience, a totally meaningless game

Zelda is one of the best game franshishes of all time, with real gameplay and level design, and like a million times better game in every way and then some and then some more, at least for my preferences in gaming

Any RPG or adventure is vastly better game than MGS4 and its kind for me anyway
