Of the 3 major platforms, best value for money?

I reckon this is easily given to the ps4 since it is not only the least expensive, it has the most exclusives of a very high quality. The xbone would be the worst of the 3 since it is essentially an inferior pc where pc would be right in the middle. To build a pc that is on par a ps4, you'll easily spend over $400 even with cheap shit amd hardware yet you won't have access to the library of quality exclusives the ps4 has. Don't get me wrong, if you've got the dough to burn on a $10,000 pc set up, it is a devine experience in itself. The Witcher 3 alone can justify such set up. That leaves us with the xbone which is utterly useless since everything is now on pc, even before that decision it was still the most wasteful purchase since their exclusives were bgrade at best and ran at 900p instead of 1080p. What does everyone else think?

2DS Bundled with free game for $79.99 i feel is best value right now. Awesome library and superb eShop for all types of other stuff.

Anyways, for me it's been the WiiU. Besides Bloodborne my PS4 has mainly been something to watch shows/movies on. No Xbone here.

For the pc being the best choice, you need to be a millionaire and upgrade every 6 month. Now i have to say that i'm not serious or i'll be quoted by 40 triggered hermits telling me how wrong my statement is.

That is a very fair point, amd is pissy weak these days and Nvidia has their gimpworks to make old chips obsolete. You'll need to upgrade every year or two in order to play shit maxed out

Xbone is cheap, has some great games you can get for cheap. Including two bang-for-your-buck compilations Halo MCC and Rare Replay. I'd say very good value

Xbox One S is a good value if you care about 4K Blu-ray.

The Wii U costs the same as the more powerful and feature rich Xbox One S, so no not even close.

Xbone is a gears/halo/forza machine. Desperate console. I suppose if you found one for cheap, you could get it to play the couple games it has. Overall value sucks though.

PC gaming sucks. Worst value. Have to spend $2000 every year for minor rez/fps bumps.

As a PC gamer, I've gotten more out of the WiiU for what I've paid.

Were it just one system of the bunch with no PC, it would be the PS4 easily.

WiiU and PC take up most of my time so these are best value IMO.

Followed by 3DS and Vita. Both have been used a lot since I got them.

Xbox S its too soon to say, and my PS4 almost never gets turned on.

Ps4, considering the extra support it gets from Japan. Xbox doesn't get that.

PC, followed by XBOX 360, followed by Wii U. In addition to having other uses, a PC has a biggest, broadest library of quality games stretching back years. It's not news if an old game works with new hardware - it's news if it doesn't!

Wii U might pick up depending on what games it ends up getting by the end of it's life, certainly Zelda and maybe the new Paper Mario.

As far as XBONE and PS4, not a whole lotta value in them.

For someone with a good PC, the Wii U is the best value so far this gen, up till greatness actually arrives.

Aside from PC.....probably the PS4.

More exclusives than the X1 and more unique than the same old Nintendo exclusives that have been rehashed since either the N64 days or the GC days.

Nothing can be compared to PCs when it comes to VALUE , its not even close to anything else. Period. So lets speak consoles. I can prove that with simple mathematics if you want.

This is easy and the main reason why i favor PS consoles heavily. VALUE , fuking value ! The most valuable aspect of a product that many fanboys bypassing ...well because of fanboyism.

PS1 / PS2 - Easy == hell even problematic PS3 .All proved themselfs for being best value for money. PERIOD When you know youll be getting massive exclusives till the end of each generation under any circumstances ( PS3 proved that ) let alone even in next-gen .. theres no competition there. I cant see PS4 fail on that if PS3 made it.

Now , that doesnt mean youll choose a console and games you dont like at all based on value. If you like something else go with what you like most. But if you like Sonys exclusives ... its a win-win scenario and a must buy. Hell even SONY haters thru the years ending up buying the systems they were hating on for that reason. VALUE = Support = games again and again

PC will always be the better bang for your buck over time

A couple of weeks ago, a fuse popped in my monitor plug top, then I found out I had no spare fuses in the house. So I thought "Where can I rob a 5 amp fuse from?". My PS4 no longer has fuse in the plug, I only just remembered that. So I certainly would not say that the PS4 has been any kind of value for money to me.

Op is clearly fanboying, also, since when do you have to spend 10000 dollars to get a decent good setup. Also, the ps4 barely has any good exclusive games with the exception of bloodborne, most of their games are cinematic trash and hentai/anime stuff, nothing really noteworthy. Pc will always be the best choice overall as it offers so much more than any other platform both in terms of quality and quantity. I am pretty sure most of us would agree that pc is simply the best platform, that's why op decided not to include a poll in his laughable thread.

But it also depends if you care for Nintendo game, which i don't.

The Xbox One offers the best value mainly due to MS dumbing the system for Xbox One S sales. However, if the Xbox One line up is not to your fancy, the price difference between the two is negligible making the PS4 the best value. Xbox wins purely on cost but preference can make the PS4 an obvious choice. PC gaming is great but PC Gamers are the absolute worst batch of gamers making the overall experience and value terrible for newcomers.

The PS4 is obviously the most "bang for your buck".

The WiiU makes the best secondary system to a PC, more by the other 2 having almost no top exclusives than by much merit of it's own.

The XBone is in no man's land.

I have once since 2012 and it was a $200 R9 390 that blows anything a console can do out of the water even at 1440p 60fps. Consoles frame rates hurt my brain.
