except for wii play, every game on that list is fantastic. sony needs either big accessible exclusives...(i mean like GoW, or jak, where the players dont need a huge backstory) or a reason to buy their version of multiplats over 360

WiiPlay is the game that compleates what the Wii ideally should have been at launch: A combination of WiiSports and WiiPlay and Two controllers. Of course if they did that the Wii would have been selling for $300 and crossing over into the 360 price area.

Granted, I'd probably get WiiPlay too just for another controller myself. That or for my grandparents since they need another remote too...

Poopinloop is on the ball, actually. I see no reason to buy Wii Play outside of the free controller. Then again, in my view, the game comes free with the Wiimote.

Thats nice then they will see how fun Crackdown is and the awesome downloadable content coming and feel even better about their purchase. Crackdown is fun and after playing it I went back and toyed with Saints Row and GTASA and they felt very underwhelming compared to Crackdowns gameplay.

Clever response, but that's a slight exaggeration. I'm estimating that 20-30% of people bought it for Halo 3, whilst the other 70-80% bought it for the great game (Halo 3 beta as a bonus).

IMO the Crackdown bashing is an iteration of what I like to call DAMAGE CONTROL. What's interesting to note is the lack of PS2 software on that list as well, despite its great hardware numbers, only Guitar Hero is in the top 10. Could it be that people are only buying PS2s to play used games, and replace broken ones?

diddy kong racing with a comeback... yes, i didnt know they made one for the ds. i hate handhelds but ill buy a ds for diddy kong racing. way better than mario kart IMO. i like mario kart but diddy kong racing is more fun. god they need a diddy kong racing for the wii.
