Official GRAW2 hype thread - AAA?

Great day for Lemms, might as well keep it going.  What do you think GRAW2 will get here at GS?  I'm gonna say 9.0.  The only knock that I can see GS giving it is that it is a little too much like the original.  Still, they may have done just enough new things/additions to move it into the AAA range.  The demos are awesome, imo.  The addition of clan support is awesome (finally! on the 360).

It may slip to 8.8, but I'll say 9.0.  Not as good as RSVegas, but very close.

First off tactical shooters are awesome, unless you aren't good at them which you probably aren't.

Second Assasins Creed is being made here in the Montréal studio while GRAW 2 is being made by the Paris studio. You act as if they have one building and one dev team. These games are being made simutaneously by different developers in different countries.

AA. It's not a totally new game. More like an expansion pack.FearlessSpirit

I don't know about you guys, but I was not impressed by the demo. I like my R6 vegas better, and that barely got AAA. 11Marcel

Did you play the single player or the multi player demo?  To me, the multi is far and away the better of the two. 

Oh, and barely getting AAA is still AAA.  Just like a 7.9 is still an A... :wink:

That's cool.  Just wondering if you got to play the multi.  The controls did feel clunky, especially after spending hundreds of hours with Gears.  But, they are the same as GRAW1 - I just need to recalibrate...

GRAW 2 is nothing more than an overrated expansion to GRAW with slightly improved graphics.  I wanted something new, but it seems like they just recycled old parts.  I love GRAW MP, but long waiting times and connection issues are still present in GRAW 2, not to mention that it still suffers from graphics downgrade which from what I see is not necessary seeing as it does nothing for the connection problems.

AA for me, there's no way it'll get an AAA here considering it looks almost exactly the same game we got last year.DaysAirlines

I just don't see it getting AAA again.

If I had to guess I'd say 8.7.

It seems more like a fleshed out expansion pack for the year old Gears than an entirely new game. It's just too similar than the other one...

AA = Possibly

AAA = Won't be a Suprise

A = Shocked

This is a game I almost don't want on my system. I feel slightly insulted they are charging £40 for an expansion pack.TarmacChris
