Official! Home to release tomorrow!

Hey guys I was recently let in on the private beta of home, I turned on the PS3 and booted up home just a second ago and here's what it says:

"Tonight is the even of a new Playstation Home. The long-awaited release of Home 1.0 is happening tomorrow and we have posted an announcement about all the features we will be rolling out in the Playstation Home Beta feedback website. Woohoo! Be sure you read the whole post so you'll know what to expect tomorrow and over the coming weeks. Get ready to test out new emotes, dance moves, and games. Also, there will be a massive load test this Friday night, November 21st. We will have an event to celebrate the moment, so stay tuned for more information on that...."

My guess is either everyone gets in or Qore subscribers get in first.

Well I dunno about the "unfinished" part but I'm sure like everything else it will gradually be updated.

My friend JUST messaged me about this on PSN while I was playing SvR09. To bad HOME is pointless and dumb just like half of NXE imoWatchmenWatchUs

Have you even played home before? I find it entertaining so far.

Home 1.0 releases tomorrow for the people already in the beta. The open beta will go live later this year.

It is still private beta.  However, they are planning to let even more users into the beta, but it is not going public.  Also, Late arrivals to the beta who did not have access to .98 will not have all available features as those prior to. Don't make false assumptions.  It has not gone public yet, and won't today.  It is still a ways off.

I don't get what's official about this, I mean did Sony themselves said an official release date for Home?  I mean you just get use to Sony saying things like it'll be out in 2008 or so.  Anyway, I'm not going to expect anything for tomorrow, it's like everytime you do you get disappointed.  Also if it was really official Sony should've or would've made an official announcement, instead of surprising people with an open beta for Home for everyone because people would be on their PS3 for weeks and probably not even notice that Home is there.  So you shouldn't get people hopes up, that's not nice.

 It is going from version .98 to 1.00.  They are adding additional features and revamping old ones.  It is still private beta, just they are opening it to allow some more users to join in the private beta.  Will not go public.  Although it is given the 1.00 version update, it is not complete. Also, new people let into the beta will not be given access to the private threads in the Home Beta Tester forums on the us.playstation website.

This only concerns people who are already in the private beta and from what we understand, EU PSN users. The beta is not going public, nor has a date been announced for a public release. Yes, there is another wave of invites going out this week, but it's supposedly a SCEE thing. No word on whether or not NA PSN users will be getting invites.

Well, it seems as if US users received a wave of invites tonight for downloading the Home theme off of the PS Store. So, if you downloaded the theme...check your inboxes!

As for me? Nothing. :cry:

Well, its a good thing Home isn't a game then. No need to play it. 

For the rest of us, we'll use it as the social networking tool it is so that we can make new friends, plan clan events, and launch full parties into games.

It wouldn't hurt to try, but I hope to god that it's not a mandatory thing...I like the simplicity of just a regular dashboard. It's quick, no lag, and it's...simple.Devour2Survive

Playstation Home is saved like a game you download from PSN, and you launch it to play under the games section. So it wouldn't hurt your dashboard at all. If you don't like it, then you can simply delete it like anything else you would normally delete in your dashboard.
