Usually there is a MS, Sony and Nintendo threads in the sticky having just one sticky for all of E3 would be terrible!

I asked for this thread before hand just in case. It's good.

The E3 hype thread is general thread, this will focus on the MS conference, announcements and discussion surrounding those announcements, and the Op will have a summary of events for others or for reference later.

The sticky E3 thread is more of a general/prediction based thread.

I'm expecting a big bomb or two being dropped at this conference.

Microsoft knows how important E3 is to the industry yet they voluntarily chose to NOT show three of their biggest exclusives (Scalebound, Crackdown and Quantum Break).

They have to have a reason. One idea I heard floated by a Youtuber I watch is a possible Mass Effect 4 deal.

We'll see soon enough.

This would only be big if it's timed exclusive for over 6 months or forever not on PS4. Of course, to keep people happy do what Sony did with SF and say Bioware/EA could not have made the game without them to avoid bad press.

Guys, he's allowed to make this thread. If you all read the giant ass sticky at the top, you'd know that conference specific division threads are allowed.

If they are going to put out revived cult classic games, they will probably go for niche franchise that has a bit more buzz. Crimson Skies vocal minority is way to small. Unless they re-work it for the modern times very very well.

watching it on giantbomb. i want it to be laughably bad (like the 2013 conference which will be very hard to beat) or great, not in between.

2013 wasn't bad....

Halo 5 showing will be inmense and I really can't wait. I want a visual specticle and some fantastic settings, music and gunplay. If they show Gears Of War 4, I don't just want Gears Of War, I want more. They need to open the game out and expand stuff. If Turn 10 is on form, then hell yes, I'm getting Forza 6. And Rare's new IP? Not too hyped. But I don't doubt that I would enjoy it somewhat, or who knows? It might even blow my socks off.

7h is being generous. I swear it's about 2 and a half hours for mine :/

BTW PS4 getting demolished on Amazon. Also week 2 of June was brutal as well, batmans not really doing much, but E3 still has a chance. a TLG reveal along with FFVii remake may make the tides turn very nicely. But this can be countered by a New Banjo and Minecraft 2.

All of which factually won't be at either conference in terms of a 2015 release date.

Yes it was. That was when they announced all that BS that made the Xbox look like crap. Always online, no game sharing, $100 more than the competition, forced Kinect, always on Kinect, and it had a slightly weaker gpu. It was bad.

I suppose I should watch. Can't say I have alot of enthusiasm for this.

Got the conference ready to go in the background at work. Let's hope for some goodness announced! If Microsoft wants to compete even more with Sony, they need to make a push here.

Actually that was announced before. People get E3 and the reveal mixed up.

The only bad part about 2013 was potentially the price of $500. The rest was either before, never happened, or was removed before E3, or after e3, in which case, that function was not mentioned at E3 at all, and when mentioned after E3, it was so to say it wasn't there.

Everything else was solid, great features, great game line-up, Killer Instinct coming back etc.

MS and Sony spending for exclusive content on 3rd party games instead of giving us ****ing new games is more than a little irksome.

An NFL exclusive game would be a bombshell, but would probably push EA sports into sony's arms so mixed blessing I think.
