Yeah, it's Japan only. It's annoying, because it's very easy to make a Japanese account on the PS3. I don't think you can do that on the 360.Floppy_Jim

yep, just make a hotmail acount with a japanees address( easy google) and then create a gamertag with that hotmail email address.

the first 3 gamertags you create on xbox live will turn into gold acount for 1 month. so you will have a japanees gold acount for 1 month.

Wow, Japan exclusive :?? On a side note: can anyone confirm of deny if you HAVE to have a gold subscription to utilize co-op in RE5? I don't plan on renewing my Live (times getting tough :() and this will be the determining factor for which system I get it on.Episode_Eve

Just shows how much japanese developers have warmed up to the 360. RE5 demo 360 exclusive, last remnant timed exclusive while FF13 is same day release, games like Tekken,DMC going multiplat and so on. RE5 is a big deal game and 360 getting the demo exclusive is a mojor shockerEltroz

These days a game isnt exclusive unless its either a first party developed or published game, OR it was paid for by that company. The only exception to that rule is probably mgs4 and thats thanks to kojima only.

It's simple to get a japanese xbl account. No idea how you children think the demo being released in japan is "ownage".

The fact remains that next friday I will be playing Re5 on my 360.  While the ps3 offers nothing once again.

I love when people say this. No one will ever know because no one at MS will admit things. In Japan 360 games sell like complete crap compared to PS3 games. Even GTA4 was no contest. And why would MS need to pay for GTA4 when all the GTA games came to the XBOX? The only things people get puzzled about are when JRPGs come exclusively for the 360 in Japan. It makes no sense. It is like Bioware releasing Mass Effect only for the PS3 when its main fanbase is the PC/360.

You would be suprised how many Japanese demo's and downloads are in english once you access them from your normal english account. I don't know if Re5 will be in english once you switch accounts... but it wouldn't suprise me one bit as it has been that way in the past with other games.
