seriously.....wow. The demo was freaking AWSEOME! this feels like it will have been well worth the wait. can it be august now please?

are you serious? i thought the demo was garbage!! the controls are HORRIBLE!! camera angle is worst then ninja gaiden 2's and the graphics are horrendous....theres ALOT of lag in the menu and equipment selection.....theres glitches everywhere....its just a futuristic two worlds!!!

Yep, demo out now, and I agree that the game is sweet. I was expecting suckage too. I love when that happens. Millennium_King

you have to admit the controls are different and take some time getting used to.... Then the next thing is taking your time and learning how to fight and not just button mash.. you can pull off some sweet combos.. and the loot drops are better than what Diablo offered.

The controls are only horrible to you because you are trying to play the game like any typical third person shooter. This game isn't a shooter, this game isn't Ninja Gaiden II.. you should really take your time to just let go and you'd actually realize that the camera almost never screws up.

I agree though, its hard to just let go and allow the game to control the camera.. when 90% of the games out there give you direct control of the camera its hard to give control back to a game!

u mean pressing the D-pad up or down to change the angles?? since you cant move the camera around with the R stick you are forced to press the left bumper to have a set view infront of you....this makes the game control horribly....50% of the time your attacks wont be targeted on the guy you want....so theres really no individual aim unless you are aiming infront of you with a gun or something....but melee combat is seriously flawed in the game. Not to metion the game is VERY VERY clunky. Its just a futuristic two worlds.

I went Iso camera for the max Diablo experience. Took a WHILE to get used to the controls...but WOW is all I have to say. Day 1 purchase for me. I have a feeling these fights are going to get epic, tons of enemies, flying around like a madman, and the customization is on par with or even surpasses Diablo and other RPGs of the same style. Really looking forward to this now.

Camera is suspect and graphics are hit or miss, but overall this will be a game that isn't rated terribly well (7-8 on this site, 8.5 if the reviewer is generous) but you can easily sink 100s of hours into because it's so engrossing and addictivel fun. Put together co-op over LIVE...gonna be a blast. Please come soon August.

I split the cam between Iso/Strategic/Far.

Gameplay was awesome, and I the loot drops were even better.

does anybody know how much loot they stuck in the demo? like when i go to play it again will i get to same drops or will there be some stuff i hadnt seen yet?jigglebilly1983

on my first play through i got alot of stuff...like 7 different assualt rifles ...4 different dual wield pistols, 5 mallets, 7 swords, bunch of runes, and a few armor pieces that i couldnt wear.

Sometimes you can't download demos right when they come out. That is dying off. Most demos will let you download it right away (though not all).
