Wow, you mean it almost was, "Teh kidday suckz!" But thankfully, it's not on the Wii, so its, "Wowz, teh coolz!" jeffwulf

really... if you think about it, good thing it wasn't on the wii. now i love nintendo but LBP needs the PS3, not the wii.. the great physics, the large levels, etc. need that great, next gen processor.. plus LBP is about "Play, Create, and Share"... the share would be tough with wii's... eh "inferior" online.sellcola5xBlastworks on the Wii has a similar title to "Play Create Share"

What are you talking about? WB asked Chris Nolan to make a sequel to Batman Begins. Chris Nolan wrote the screenplay and directed the movie. No one ever asked Michael Bay to direct anything.

You're right. I misunderstood the situtuation. Bay WROTE a script that got rejected. He didn't receive a script and reject IT.

That seems about right. He is a pathetic but somehow popular director.

I doubt that's true, Christopher Nolan directs all of the movies he writes (which includes Batman Begins and The Dark Knight).

I like him cause he stood up for Blu-Ray when Paramount went HD-DVD and he goes against Uwe Boll :P

Dude really, get a life. I didn't say anything remotely bashing the Wii, I'm just telling people what the freaking developer said on the podcast, get over it.

QFT, the wii just has to many limits, for 2008. They are still living in 2001
[QUOTE="verbtex"]Could you imagine how hard it would be to control on the wii?
jeffwulf
Umm, D-Pad move, 1 for jump, 2 for grab. What else do you need?
True...
But I'm talking about create aspect wise.
Maybe its just my Wii, it doesn't respond very well with many of the games I have.

You must have a junk set-up, because honestly, the IR would only make the creating portions of LBP faster and smoother.
Ownage from that is nothing compared to the ownage from what I'm about to tell you.
Gamefreaks, the makers of Pokémon were turned down by both Sony and Sega before turning to Nintendo.

:o Woh!
Back on topic, very smart move by Sony. Wonder what it would be like if it was for the Wii.

We're going to hack the internets.
AMN: Now just one more question , a lot of our readers have actually been wondering about this. I know it's something that's way far off but is there any particular interest for you guys to make this game for more than one console other than the PlayStation 3?
Evans: Well when we started the studio I really wanted to go with a – we have a really small team and it's kind of key to Media Molecule – so every member of the team is really involved. With a small team you have to pick your battles, so we really made a conscience decision to stick with one platform. When we first pitched it, actually to Phil Harrison in London, he just got the game so much, so quickly even without showing anything, it was like 'this is what we want to do.' There was just no question it was just really quick. I've enjoyed as a technical person just being able to focus on 1 platform. Which means I can really milk it and get the best out of it.
