Tilt does suck and it is useless. Using the control sticks is far better than using tilt. Especially for Heavenly Sword.
And yes, I do own a PS3.
that because your not use to it. tell you truth shsh don't tell anyone i loved lair i rented it and love it. the tilt is making this game more caotic then any other game i have played. i have never look like an idiot waving the controler up and down to to rip apart a structure and had a blast doing it. heck my wife was laughung at me but then i made her try it and she could not stop laughing doing it but she said it was fun.Tilt does suck and it is useless. No, it's not because I'm not used to it. It's just a useless feature.
Oh, sure, I'm sure there'll be a few games down the road who make great use of it. But the games probably could have done it just as well without motion sensing.
If I had to choose between motion sensing and rumble, I'd take rumble without hesitation.
Its not stupid, but its rather un-necessary and I cannot think of one instance where tilt made a game better in any tangible way.
I like the PS3 so far, but I miss rumble more than I like tilt. I have a Wii for tilt based stuff.
The only game on the PS3 that has benefitted from the Sixaxis so far is Heavenly Sword. That's it. Yeah, it's fun to fly in Warhawk with Sixaxis, but then you also have to use it to drive the vehicles which doesn't work at all, so that's a waste. And Lair would have been an awesome game if the Sixaxis didn't suck so bad.
So yeah, other than HS, Sixaxis pretty much completely blows. I'm much more excited about getting rumble back.

I think the arrow shooting and cannonball shooting in HS was pretty awesome. Other than this, I completely agree.
tilt is stupid till sony prove otherwise. so far its just a tack on for the sake of having it. i guess this is why it been all but dropped from mgs4.
but would you complain if it had both. seeing as with the shock 3 it will have both. No, it's not because I'm not used to it. It's just a useless feature.

If it cost more money, yes.
But that's besides the point. We have both and there's nothing anyone can do about it. So long as developers don't force me to use motion sensing when I could very simply just use control sticks, then I'm fine with it. But for games like Warhawk that force you to use it, that's when I dislike it completely.

I'd be more enthusiastic about it if Sony hadn't blatantly lied about it, crafted some BS story explaining why there was no rumble, and now is crafting a more elaborate lie as to why they now can have it.
I'd be more respectful if they told the truth about the whole thing. That and if I wouldn't now have to pay extra to get a controller that has this most basic feature in it after dropping $500 on the most expensive mainstream console of the modern era.
As it stands now, its good that they are getting it back, but it still feels like taking it in the shorts though.
