Ok I'm gonna go with... 3DS or WiiU????

For the time being I am still considering going for a Nintendo 3DS (really not a lot to do with mobility for me aside from around the house), but I hear it has a great library including Castlevania, Mario, Zelda games and even Pokemon games I'd be up to play. For the Wii-U it kind of makes sense because I have a 47'' LED 3D TV that is begging for a console atm, I'd love to play get Skyward Sword, Windwaker HD, Res Evil Wii, and of course other Wii and Wii-U games.

3DS right now as it actually has a great selection of games.

Wii U's library won't be worthwhile until 2014 at the very least.

IDK about Wii U, it has an incredibly weak library considering one of if not the biggest release to date in almost a year of being on the market is a port of a zelda game, which is a great game still.  My wife just bought the 3DS XL not too long ago and I own a vita already and I was actually really impressed.  Its a really cool piece of hardware with a real big screen, good battery life, and most importantly a fairly established library depending on what you like.

Like i mentioned above with Wii U's windwaker port, 3DS already has the Ocarina of Time port, is getting a link to the past remake, and wouldn't be surprised if it saw a Majora's mask down the road.  Its got a couple solid RPG's (fire emblem, and a couple shin megami tensei games) and Nintendo IP entries (zelda, mario, star fox, smash bros coming soon) best of all is a relatively low $200 price tag. its also doing 100% better than its console counter part so theres more incentive for future software to be developed for it so to me this is really a no brainer if you had to choose at the moment.  If you are dying for a home console just buy a 360 or ps3 for super cheap with a way better library than wii u's if you dont already own one or wait for the newer consoles.

As a WiiU owner that doesn't own a 3DS, I advise you to get a 3DS.

I'm strictly a console/PC guy.  Just never got into handhelds.  That said, I regret buying a WiiU instead of the 3DS.

Not trying to tell you what to do, you might enjoy the WiiU much more, I'm just sharing my perspective.  The WiiU will pick up of course and get some great games, but the 3DS is already there.

Well yeah there is that.  If you missed out on the Wii then you'll have some quality titles to catch up on.  It didnt have a stellar library, but there were some must play games.  Particularly the Galaxy games.

Hey man, PS3 is a great choice as well.  Definitely my favorite console of last gen.

It seems you have some research to do though.  Just look at the games you want and weigh the options.

If I get a PS3, I feel like I'm going to play the sports games I wanted to play and TLoU and Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMix and then be kinda blah, because the games coming out like AC IV, Arkham Origins, BF4 and COD: Ghosts, I will probably play on my PC...

pft first , wiiu has more then just a port of a zelda game , it has nslu nsmbu  nfsmw u ,   zombi u ,  walking dead ,  blacklist,    it has games , to bad most people are fanboys and wont look or give the titles a chance,  

even ones that were released on multiplatforms simulatanious theyll sit there and choose the 360 ps3 version watch , 

 that said , 

it depends on what you like ,    3ds will probably have rpgs and such covered along with nintendos games that are already out ,    

if you want more console like expeirences - wiiu is gonna be the one to have,  especally after the new games come out like super mario 3d world ,

if it's 3 or 4 heads you then choose heads or tails. You then flip 3 coins at the same time.. the one you call will be the Wii U.. the opposite will be the 3DS. 

If on the first 5 toss it was 3 or 4 Tails you toss the coin 1 more time and you call it in the air before it lands, if you call it right it's a 3DS if wrong it's a Wii U. If you don't call it you toss it again until you do.

If either you get 5 heads or 5 tails on the first tosses then it means you shouldn't get neither.

3DS has a very healthy library while Wii U has no games. The choice is clear.
