O.k. I know it might be too early to decide or give a sure result but based on what we've seen so far what postitions would you give each console for the end of this gen?

Agreed.  I think this gen will be so close that there won't be any one "winner".  One console will sell "more," but I doubt the difference will be terribly significant.

360 either has second or first, probably the second.

I know I'll get flamed into oblivion for this, but I think the advancements in hardware for the 360 and the PS3 are very important for gaming, and for than just graphics. Vastly improved and high quality AI are musts for a truly excellent game, and other things that become better with hardware.

i thought about that but the problem with 360 is it's not selling good in japan, even thought it'll beat PS3 In europe and north america in 2007 it won't come close to PS3 in japan. but still 360 might PS3 in other regions by alot so it balances but so far PS3 is beating 360 because of japan.
