Ok, so now when is the PS3 going to get its first AAA?

There are no good games coming until at least June for the cows, does this means that Cows and the rest of us PS3 owners (yeah i know, 700 down the drain) have no reason to play the console until then.... Lair better be a 9.5+ or something, or as I said, I am freaking breaking my PS3 in public and posting it on youtube.

I own a PS3, and I dont feel that way. Unfortunatly, we dont have any great games, besides Resistance. But I think by this time next year we will have plenty to keep us busy.

I'll be awaiting that video, as there is no way in hell I think that Lair is going to score 9.5 or higher.verbalfilth

Yeah I know, sometimes I feel like smashing the PS3, or just sell it. But tbh is a console with a great future. When I think about it, I see a young sports player, earning experience for future seasons. However, I wish I had bought it later. I got owned by Sony, but is fine. As long as MGS4, and other couple titles are great, I will be happy with my purchase. Also, most likely BluRay will win the format wars.

Oblivion will probably be the first AAA game. But exclusive wise, most likely lair.

I go by gamerankings, and gamespot is almost 90% of the time spot on with the reviews. No PS3 game has AAA according to gamerankings, which is an average of all popular and credible sites. Meaning that in reality PS3 games are lacking.

You should check my other several threads in which I explain why I write all that garbage. I am actually sort of a manticore. I am not a lemming, is just that right now I am having fun playing on the 360. TBH the only ppl that are fanboys are the ones who cant afford all 3 consoles. I can. The only one I dont have is the Wii because in all honesty I think is the worst POS ever created.

Specially those coming from magazines that cover games from only one company such as PSM, OXM and Nintendo Power among others. For every 6 or 7 a game like Halo 2 gets from a small site, there is a 9.5 that a game like Killzone gets from a magazine like PSM. So yeah, I would say gamerankings is pretty accurate given the size of the poll.

Calling Killzone the best FPS ever, and publicizing info about games that are not coming to PS2/PS3 in order to mislead the public is what I would call biased. Are we really talking about PSM the Official Play Station Magazine? That mag and Nintendo Power have some of the worst biases I have ever seen. Jezz, at least OXM flops tons of Xbox games, and even gives scores to those games that are lower than those in gameranking, such as Crackdown, Fable, Forza and Lost Planet.

I'm banking on Heavenly Sword (obviously), but Oblivion should be AAA and from what I heard on the EGM podcast, I'm willing to bet the new Ratchet and Clank will be AAA (although that's not until the fall).

Third parties will need to step up.
