Okay, How many people -actually- have an HDTV?

And also, I just don't see the need to upgrade my TV for videogames, it works just fine

Yes, 1080p no less.  If you have a next gen game system you need a next gen tv.  So if you have a Wii, you don't need a hdtv.  ironwarrior2

HD TV is gorgeous. Widescreen movies are a god send. And HD games are a sight to behold.

I'm trying to hold off on purchasing an HDTV until those nifty SED-TV's are in the market.  However since I plan to purchase all three systems later this year, I can't help but be tempted to get one now.  I haven't been exposed to HD much, but after seeing GeOW on my roommates HDTV, i'm pretty much hell bent on getting one.DementedDragon

HD is great but just not worth the money when the TV I have right now is doing fine, imo.

Well if your sitting at a desk then it's actully bigger then a 50 Inch pending on how far you sit away from the monitor it's still fun a bigger screen would be nice but no need to spend 2000 when you can spend 40 to enjoy the moment..

Yeah it's kinda funny most people don't notice this. I can even play my dreamcast using a VGA cable on my monitor.
