[QUOTE="BioShockOwnz"][QUOTE="3picuri3"]it's not entitlement at all, lol. it was the spirit of the scene. the developers of demoscene used to think their work wasn't worth the cost of a game, and was meant more to be art that was freely exchanged in a digital format for people to enjoy. sony is monetizing it, and this isn't the first psn demoscene bit that charges money - it's just contrary to the spirit of the scene. call me a hippy. call me whatever, but the sense of entitlement is on the side of the people thinking their barely interactive art is deserving of 15$... and that it shouldn't just be shared like other scene works. you obviously don't know demoscene if you're thinking entitlement has anything to do with it.
and imagine how it makes people in the scene feel - all these years they've done it brilliantly for free and all of a sudden people start charging for it and try to sell it on their backs. it's bs.

I'm well aware of the demoscene, and I still disagree with you. I don't care how some "cool" group feels. If someone puts their time, money, and life into something that'll give me some sort of enjoyment, then they deserve to be paid for it. I bet you'd be first in line if this were on Xbox 360...
You want stuff for free, I don't.
you don't get it at all... but whatever, to each their own :) has nothing about me wanting stuff for free - that just underscores how much you don't get this. And you're not getting that it costs money to put a game on a service like PSN and XBL, not to mention the actual cost of development. This isn't an open platform like PC where you can freely upload your work for others.
