old gen is better than new gen is what i think

ive never liked the new consoles ever since i was young i like any game system from xbox 360 and ps3 back bought my first gamecube when it was released and still play it today if anyone has a problem with my choice they can go somewhere else cause it doesnt bother me. the reason i have said this people have posted alot of comments about xbox 360 and ps3 but i can tell you even though my consoles dont have as much memory on them they have enough to fit all of my game which total about 100 games and counting on each. my most played games are gta v im trying to understand why people are so negative about the issues im happy just the way it is on xbox 360 and playstation 3 and if you have a problem with me keep it to yourself

@lastgenrules2020: last gen was awesome, I have my 360 set up next to my PC because I have so many good games from last gen.

Last gen was great, and so is the current gen. The only issue i have this gen is how shitty the performance is in every game. And its not like last gen games ran any better, i just notice it way more these days than before.

Performance generally has been better this gen than last, especially for Playstation. It almost became a bit of a joke how poorly multiplats ran on PS3.

Multiplats ran poorly at the beginning. If current gen is running better than last, its a good thing i was mostly not paying attention to fps because current gen is a mess when it comes to performance.

Yeah, this gen has to be the weakest in terms of hardware. Last gen had pretty good stuff initially, personally my most fun came from the dreamcast and gamecube. Super monkey ball was played a lot when me and my mates were stoned, lol.

Last gen was more innovative, but this gen is more polished.

Yeah, all the literally unfinished and broken games released this gen were awesome for day 1 buyers...

LOL people always bring up worst generation of all time. 7th gen after 2007 was worst gen ever. every game back then having regen health, cover system, scripted and 6 hour campaign. that was just a norm there.

So yeah i compared similar games. most of 7th gen games were mediocre bar STALKER and Deus Ex HR.

Was more thinking in terms of gameplay and design.

A gen that give me COD clones vs gen that give me Doom and Doom Eternal.

Last gen was miles better at least when it came to games for me this current generation was mostly filled with greed and a lack of new IP's worst gen I have ever experience.

Really enjoyed Sleeping Dogs, but our gaming leader has spoken.

Bad driving, bad shooting, story no idea whats going on, combat from batman with some burtality.

Me personally, give me a good PS1 game over a PS4/Xbox 1 game that's rampant with micro-transactions and cut content hidden behind paywalls any day!

also cant stand the singing song segment where wei shen sing "if fought the law and law won" with we have to press up and down keys here and there.

Also terrible racing missions.

The main thing that sets Sleeping The Dogs apart is the lack of gunpowder based weapons and it's Asian Hong Kong themed setting, specifically HK movies. Otherwise it is pretty bog standard GTA structure.

Not really like Assassins Creed, that just padded with shit tons of boring monotonous content to fill it out, pacing wise Sleeping Dogs is closer to a classic GTA game prior to SA where it doesn't overstay it's welcome.

If someone's sick or straight up doesn't like GTA style games, yea, probably not going to do it for them.

Im pretty sure GTA5 is most hated game in series. and 4 was also hated despite critics actually praised it because its JEEE TEE AEE!

of course it sell among non gamers. most of kids and my non gamers friends love GTA5 and blown away by its world but they play it only for messing around in world than actual missions.

The 12 folk on some internet forum who think their ego bubble represents reality, is not actually the world at large my most respected of friends.

It's a merely microcosm of grandiose narcissism mistaken as reputable analytical skills.

Polished is not the word I would use, but I think a better way of putting it is that the best games of this gen stack up much better than the best games of last gen. More systems driven games overall, very few ips actually regressed mechanically. If anything established ones added stuff.

if people remove nostalgia glasses. theres too many mediocre plus overrated games last gen
