360 wins by having sharper textures, you could adjust the brightness though.
All I really see here are contrast differences. Both look pretty good. (inb4 lemmings claim extreme ownage)
And textures. Lemmings rejoice! All I really see here are contrast differences. Both look pretty good.

Is it me or are the 360 shots too dark? I would turn up the brightness making it look like the PS3 version anyways..lol..BUT on a side note...they both look fine.

According to the comments, the game is using QAA. I don't know whether or not that's true, but if it is then that would blur the textures quite a bit.*
*See Killzone 2 for a good example

Doesn't matter, could have Crysis quality textures for all I care. All that matters is what you see.

And textures. Lemmings rejoice!SaltyMeatballs
Because i was waiting and i mean excited very excited. Why the OMG in the title if the difference is so tiny?
johny300
think how excited you'll be for the Crysis 2 and RAGE comparisons :P only multiplats for a chance for the Console graphics king throne lol ... Until the Last Guardian of course 8)
i bet that during gameplay you CANNOT tell the difference. xbox's superiority days are gone. differences are minimal. and that is for the betterthe 360 has better textures and wins again. no surprise here.

You had to mention TLG :P:cry:, now i'm excited for it :P.Can someone please tell me why the xbox 360 screens are almost always contrasted to death? Do the people doctor these shots? If they do, do they actually think that it improves the quality of the image? Or do they adjust the brightness/contrast of the PS3 shots? Because really, I've bought this or that version of some "face off" games and neither version ever really look like shots from some of these sights. Personally I think the shots are doctored.

Unless they made some major changes to their engine in the laster year, we'll probably see the same issues with brotherhood.the 360 has better textures and wins again. no surprise here.

Digital foundry, gametrailers, lens of truth, gamespot and that guy on youtube are out to make the ps3 multi-plats look bad.:o The rsx just produces softer colors. You see minor changes in colors with nvidia and ati cards all the time. Can someone please tell me why the xbox 360 screens are almost always contrasted to death? Do the people doctor these shots? Info on the capture settings they use. Feel free to run a few tests yourself if you like.

I'm not even referring to X or Y looking better. What I'm saying is that I've bought a 360 version of this game, a ps3 version of that game, and neither of them will look like the comparison shots. If I buy AC:B for 360, it will not look like those shots. If I buy AC:B for PS3, it will not look like those shots. There's all these comments about lighting and such, when in reality it is just a slight brightness/contrast issue.
So the ps3 version will suffer for horrid screen tearing, sub 25fps and bad drawn in?Same diferences as Assassins creed 2. They look similar but PS3 version a bit more washed out.
PAL360
All I see is a contrast difference for the most part. The 360 being a bit darker and the PS3 being a tad lighter. The differences are so minuscule that it would be insane to nit-pick and argue over which one is the best. Wait, what am I saying? This is System Wars, the realm where madness and sheer lunacy reigns supreme. Carry on, then. I'll be picking up the PS3 version and will enjoy it all the same.

sounds like crysis 2 on the 360.

Nice, you already got the game! How good is the campaign?
They tweak the tv settings. No diffrence except for brightness, this is a hard one. I Prefer the darker "X360" version. PS3, Too light. but thats all up to each one of us.

but PC graphics are overrated right?
This should come as no surprise considering it's using the same engine as Assassin's Creed 2 which looked better on the 360 and this was produced within less than a year so they didn't really have the time to make significant (if any) improvement to the engine.vashkeyYes game engines are important. But this is a multiplat engine and you cannot do a comparision with an exclusive engine to draw conclusions between the two consoles. Unlike ALOT of a certain fangroup loves to tell us.(brag about)
