killzone2 has 1280x720 resolution that mean's it has better graphics than crysis warhead because everyone knows display resolution is everything.:lol:

But I'm not a huge PC gamer so I don't know what Crysis's Max Settings are without Mods.

But I'm not a huge PC gamer so I don't know what Crysis's Max Settings are without Mods.

I read somewhere (one of those German sites) that technically, Crysis can go up to 64000x48000. Try to max that out with current tech. I'm tying to find that site again. Or maybe that was 6400x4800.

Thats cool. Imma go back to playing Crysis with mods that make it look far better than anything on consoles or PC even after 3 years of being released (One month to go.) Hell, it doesn't even need mods for that.

This thread is so confusing... is TC implying that Crysis Warhead's maximum resolution is 800 x 600? There's no way...

omg halo reach is 600p

id say the low polygon acounts and low resolution textures on the marines in halo reach bring down the graphics more than resolution does lol.

Anti-Aliasing makes the N64 look blurry, not the resolution :roll:

Mostly the fact that it is running SD is why it is blurry. Anti Aliasing cleans up artificats. I've never heard of anything about AA making stuff blurry.

actually no, crysis character models are higher polygon

the ears are less blocky.

plus, the textures are lower resolution.

Why did you bring up killzone 2? Is your arguement that I am arguing that crysis warhead looks worse than killzone 2? All I said is that resolution makes stuff blurry. That is a windowed image. If you played crysis warhead 800X600 oversampled on a 1080p computer. It will look blurry, and bad. Only idiots think resolution doesn't impact games graphics. I never seen one game under HD that didn't look blurry. Still trying to find that game though.

It still looks better though.

Nah UC2 doesn't use 80k

It is more like 60k for cut scenes and lower than that for ingame.

Crysis uses 10k models or less. Only one model uses 15k and it was that female scientist.

Resolution matters. It is a fact. I am always wondering why people believe that it doesn't matter. It is such a dramatic difference.
