I honestly don't like Guitar Hero and think that South Park episode was absolutely hilarious (parody of GH). Also, when I saw Rock Band for the first time, I just said "are you fricking kidding me?" and shook my head.

But...that's just me. Honestly, I get more enjoyment playing a real guitar.

Yes, Sonic Youth, Weezer, Dead Kennedys, Rage Against the Machine, Smashing Pumpkins. Awesome. Sonic Youth is probably the greatest band since the eighties. But why Kool Thing? I like Kool Thing, but even on Goo there are better songs that are heavy on the guitar (MILDRED PIERCE!). And Dead Kennedys... the cover band did not do justice.

I know this will make me sound like a music-snob, but it's "Dead Kennedys", not "The Dead Kennedys" Neversoft...

GH 1 had really good songs and crappy HO PO

Actually yeah ive been waiting for them to put a Slipknot song on there. Yeah they coulda picked a better one but that was a nice song to have. The Songs that i was intoin this game were "One", "Impulse", "Raining Blood", "Stricken", "Nothing for me here", "The Metal", "Number of the Beast", "Through Fire and Flames", and "Before I Forget"

Vasoline by Stone Temple Pilots and In Bloom by Nirvana arent really that popular... Smells Like Teen Spirit and Sex Type Thing. (Though it wouldn't be allowed :( )

no I'm dead serious guys my friend brought his Wii to my house and then we played Guitar Hero 3 and omg is the best game ever, it was so much fun my friends and me were laughing alot and had alot of fun, and the game is really hard too, like seriously I was really exited playing "When you were young" by The Killers, the song was on medium and it was insane! woah guys seriously, if you don't own this game go out and buy it now now now :x best gaming experience ever.club-sandwich

Believe what you want, there is more songs available for DOWNLOAD for RB, than GH, and they are cheaper too!

Also, RB's gameplay is better, bar none. Don't believe me? Check out the scores yourself. I own BOTH GAMES, and ROCK BAND is clearly better.

Gh3 is for cheapskates that can't afford the REAL DEAL.
