OMG! New MGS looks insanely good!

Anyone else seeing this!? Looks ridiculously amazing. Love the open world stealth. INSANE! :D :D :D

I am on the same boat. Anyone who's paid attention to my posts on MGS would know I hated the game/movie that was 4. This looks awesome though. Like a stealth Red Dead Redemption with ARMA3 crisp, clean style graphics (albeit with a good bit of bloom). 

MGS looks amazing. However I thought the graphics were just average. I game on my PS3 and PC. As far as just graphics it wasn't anything special. Witcher 2 maxed with uber setting looks as good or better on my 2 yr old pc.

I don't know. I also can max out Witcher 2 (not with ubersampling mind you) at 60fps, and it is amazing, but it's an entirely different graphical style. The Witcher 2 is heavily stylized, with numerous post-processing effects that give it an almost fairy tale style. MGS 5 has the same graphical style as something like ARMA 3 (albeit not as good as ARMA 3). I think it works really well. 

btw. don't lock because of the sticky. the sticky goes by so fast that you can't have any actual discussion on any individual game.

I am just talking about from a technical point of view. Textures, lighting, character models. I don't see anything amazing here. Between Crysis 3 and Witcher 2 I dont see anything better with the new MGS. Artwork aside. And I just seen Dead Rising,. It barely looked any better than the ones for 360 as far as graphics. PS4 looks waaaay better. Not even close.

It looks frikkin outstanding!  Seriously it looks to step it up in every aspect and create another revolutionary masterpiece!  And Kiefer actualy sounds great.

The best thing about it is the use of open game segments. I do hope it means no more 30 min movie after 5 minutes of gameplay.

Just watched it and I got fvcking chills. It looks phenomenal, not only visually but animations the whole idea and theme etc. it all looks incredible. Really really excited for it now

I can't imagine it won't be given how all the hardware is based on PC architecture. Konami's recent behaivor, to me at least, indicates they're beginning to see the significance of the PC and how necessary it is for developers to be familiar with it (something Japanese devs have traditionally struggled with).

:lol: Yeah, I wouldn't doubt it. It could be XB1 footage though. If you notice the horse's tail at the beginning of the trailer, you'll see it doesn't have any tesselation. I would think the PC version would use tesselation to soften the edges on the tail. Also it would be in 1080p or higher.

Yeah... but then again, even exclusives can be showcased on high-end PC hardware just to build hype. It's how these events work.

All in all, I want a PC confirmation, damn it! :P
