I wasn't impressed either. It's all a difference in opinion.

Its pretty sad that cows get excited over MGS, all they ever show is cutscenes.....I don't know if this game is a tps or a fps, its all fuggin cutscenes. Not too mention the "dramatic" story is basically Naruto rewritten, and Naruto is for the birds....or cows..flclempire

Because this is system wars. This is the place where all the 12-17 year old fanboys can come to justify why they asked their parents to buy them a (insert console here). These kids formulate an opinion of a game as soon as they find out what console it will be on. And remarkably, when a game is multiplat they can tell you which version is going to be the best prior to any reviews by people whose opinions actually matter.Kinda funny how very few people who own all three consoles ever post here, and when they do their opinions always seem more valid and well thought out than the rest. Don't get me wrong, I have read many a post where someone will actually be honest about a console they don't own, its just really, really rare.

P.S. V-a-i-z-a-r-d This is not directed solely at you but your post seemed to fit my argument perfectly.

Thats correct, i wouldnt argue with that for a second: the art direction is fabulous on most of the character models, and especially the giant robots.

I liked the E3 2007 trailer more.

Come on, give it up, the entire series is made up of incomprehensible babble and maudlin odes to the glory/hardship of soldiering. Kojima plays the whole thing as a joke anyway. Don't take it so seriously. The vampire man, treebeard sniper, and roller skating demolition experts should have been your first clue. That and the hiding in a box feature.

kojima doesnt play out their game as a joke. sure they like to add humor but its just there type of style. but in that cutscene a guy got impaled with a robotic arm, lol. a little serious :D

Yep its pathetic how they criticize a game they know little about, all they are doing is sound ignorant, the GC trailer is introducing what will probably be four of the most memorable boss battles in vg.

Why do all the bosses have a zillion arms? :o
