I've never played WOW before... I feel like I'm missing out. SAGE_OF_FIRE

It's too late for me to start WoW now; I'm already behind by two expansions and a third one coming soon.

Maybe I'll be on board for Blizzard's next MMORPG. Probably not though. I'll most likely be playing Diablo 3.

Now is a bad time to start honestly.. the community is so awful and the constant class changes due to arena is frustrating at best. If you can ignore the majority of people I don't care too much about the competitive side of the game it's pretty awesome, if not .. well don't start :P

I know it will. Star Wars MMO with low system requirements = flood of bored WoW people looking for the next MMO to play. Good thing I will be on a RP server. :D

RPPvP Is where it is at, man! I wish I could decide what class I want to play now so that I can come up with a back story for myself, but I must wait until all of the classes are announced.SparkyProtocol

Yea.. I hope Bioware does that soon currently all I know is I'm going to be on the republic.. unless I play a BH, the empire is going to be riddled with kids from WoW who think the horde(evil side) is koooll.

Hopefully it's true. But some of those changes I don't like. Especially changing parts of existing maps. Mainly 1k Needles...aaronmullan

My sarcasm detector would've gone off if you said The Barrens, but since you didn't, I must ask why you don't like the changes.:P Thousand Needles is my most hated place. Flooding that hellhole is a Godsend for level 1's and 80's everywhere.

You know I didn't mind things getting a little more casual but I didn't think blizzard would literally hand you everything like that.. pretty much ruined the raiding scene and PVP is pretty imbalanced.

Interesting if true. Not interesting enough to tempt me to return though. The top tier upcoming MMOs have a lot more to offer an MMO player looking for a new challenge than revamped starting continents and 5 more levels.

I'm so desperate to find a distraction from WoW (been sober almost a year now) that I've already pre-ordered Aion.

Warhammer didn't have the methadone'ish fixin' qualities I was hoping for.

PVP I agree, but for PVE just don't look up strats or use deadly boss mods. It's that simple really.

On topic though, I mentioned this in another thread but this is basically almost everything I wanted in the new expansion(we'll have to see if illidan makes a comeback though). I just hope that the part about tauren paladins is a lie. The whole point of wow pvp at one point was that horde had shamans, alliance had paladins. Cows running around in power rangers gear ftl. I also want Varian Wrynn to kick some major horde ass. They're wimpifying the horde, or should I say whorde now. This is kind of good because on the alliance side we have less kiddies since TBC but still...

I didn't do either, I got realm first for every raid there was, it was just that easy that we didn't even need to look up strats. The only thing really challenging are some hardmodes like Yogg saron, Mimi and Freya, but other than that the game has become just a bit too easy.

I don't think that had to do with mythic, it was way too intergrated and well done to be an on the spot type of thing(I believe it was a way for people to judge your accomplishments in game and also a way they make hardmodes from content and have a system to check if you have done them or not), what I believe they stole from mythic was winter's grasp, it wasn't implemented well at all.
