the DS man, since you are posting this on a gaming website, and the DS is arguably the BEST in terms of a portable gaming experience.Gotta agree. The DS is the way to go if you want the best portable device. It easily has the best library, and still has plenty of games left to look forward to.
Depends on what type of gaming/ portability you are looking for. If you want fun little games you can pick up and play whenever, go with a DS. If you want a gaming device that offers portable games that are similair to their PS2 counterparts, music, videos, internet browsing (in certain places), more storage, and a nice screen, go with the PSP Go!. If you are looking for a mix of the two (leaning more towards media and away from gaming), get an iTouch/Zune HD. Personally, I would go for the PSP Go! but most people here are going to recommend the DS.
Do you want a gaming system is the question...?? Dont buy a Zune if you are looking to use it for games. Get a Zune/Ipod if your main purpose is to play music/videos etc.
This is apples and oranges really..yes the systems basically do the same thing...but the PSP is a game system that plays Video/music etc. And the Zune is a media player that can play games.
And I reccomend the DS and PSP. Both are completely different...the DS has much simplier games, the graphics are mediocre and sometimes the touch screen feels forced on you (ie: Force unleashed is completely unplayable on the system unless you have ALIEN hands). The PSP is perfect for other games like sports, racing, fighters, RPG's etc....whereas the DS does turn based RPG's, strategy games and platform games much better.
I kinda hate the gimmicky stuff nintendo does (ie: touch screen/stylus, gamecubes small mini discs...nintendo wii motion sensor). I just think of games like Chrono trigger and tell myself why is the touchscreen even used? I Never use it...and force unleashed...How can you possibly hold the system with 1 hand and use your second to FIGHT and swing the sword?? Its impossible.
meh, out of those 2 def PSP no comparison, however I personally would go with a DSi. only PSp games i Like better then similar ones on DS are Monster Hunter Freedom Unite and Resistance Retribution.
