once gears gets AAA PS3=dead

cmon guys gears of war 2 will sell 90000000 copies its 1st day, and Sony will hold a press conference the next day saying its getting out of the hardware industry.

am i doing it right?

and TC,you are wrong,currently PS3 is doing fine,with games like SOCOM (well,k it flopped,but hey Fable flopped,and does it make it a bad game?) MS2,R2,LBP,NUNS,BS,valkry and some multis ,PS3 is holding quite strong tbh

i enjoyed MGSIV it was the only game that allowed me to study for my midterms, and write a research paper while playing it.

yeah thats what was expected with MGS4...cept for the fact it got AAAAE...still sold a **** load but it didnt mean the end of the xbox...ozmatic77

I agree that flops on Gamespot can be good games! But why compare Fable2 - 8.5 to SOCOM - 6.5

Its like compare a 7.0 to a 9.0 game

No, you are vastly underestimating GeOW 2. It will also bring world peace, end hunger, and make people live much longer, happier lives. Then people will cry tears of joy at the awesomeness of Marcus Fenix.

2 weeks until I get to play GeoW 2 but the Resistance 2 beta is one of the most fun shooters since a while. I have Halo 3 and I don't even think it's anywhere near as fun/badass as this beta. I played R:FoM for quite some time and this sequel is a definite improvement on the game.

If Gears 2 can't surpass the enjoyment level of R2 online, then I'm going to be spending quite some time on my PS3 finally. I ended up spending more time on Resistance than GEARS but GeoW 2 seems to have some good improvements as well.

For a second I thought my sarcasm detector was broke.

You are sadly mistaken. The game may sell a lot of copies, and may be good, but it will not kill the PS3.

It wont kill the ps3

If anything Resistance2 , killzone2, god of War 3 , heVY RAIN , ETC being AAA-AAAA will kill the 360
