GTA4

THe name alone sells.

But, it's on the 360. A cheaper system. So i doubt the ps3's will sell much. 

But what will happen when Mass Effect and Fable 2 come out?  Huh?  HUH?!

MP3 is a great game, but please.  It won't kill the PS3.

please tell me how much both Primes sold on the gamecube.  i heard it was pretty bad especially for a game that scored 9.7anshuk20002

No single game can destroy a system, let alone Metroid Prime. And maybe I'll pay $600 for the PS3 because it has plenty of games other than Metroid Prime 3, which I don't even want.

There is no doubt in my mind that MP3 will be an incredible gaming experience, however, it will not lead to the downfall of the PS3.  People will still go to the PS3 for the raw power and great graphics.

While I don't share ironmaidenlive's opinion, at least how he said it I think Metroid Prime 3 will show the gaming world something. Mainly how a FPS type game should be done on the Nintendo Wii, control wise. At least that's what I hope. It should be able to set a standard all other developers can follow. All reports say the controls are great and extremely well done. If that is the case it should make developers wake up and say "So that's how it should be done.". Though some might be close already.

metroid prime games are great and i love them...

unfortunately they are hardcore games that dont appeal to a mass audience and dont sell systems on their own.... 

It's about time that an FPS game shows great control from the Wii-mote, not much else has been really superb in that department yet...

Just an example. "Bu, bu, MP3 is Nintendo first party!"  It's one game, unless the third parties really start to shine, it's still just one game.  

for the people that think the PS3 is "going down in a ring of fire", think again. Hopefully you will come to the realistic conclusion that although they won't dominate the market like they did last gen (time played a large advantage for Sony), their gonna do just fine regardless. Its here to stay.

MP is not even a major system seller. You should have used Super Mario Galaxy or Super Smash Bros Brawl for that argument.

In any case, one game is not enough to kill a console.

Unless MP3 is the mini game oriented BS that casuals and nongamers like then it won't move many consoles, it doesn't matter how advanced the controls are.  It's like trying to market a game like Killer 7 to the Madden crowd, no matter how impressive it actually is they probably won't see it.Tiefster

You assume that the only people who own a Wii are either kiddy, elderly, or casual college kids. The truth is that the Wii has a broad audience. Something a console needs to succeed.

I think SSBB and Super Mario Galaxy could very well establish the Wii as the best console for the money. These games are going to be crazy fun.
