Once PvP rolls out Diablo III will be the most played game on the planet

That's what everyone is waiting for right now. They've played through the difficulties, readied their characters, and have now temporarily moved on, patiently waiting for the epic update that will render D3 as one of the most competitive and fun games of the generation. Once it arrives all other online RPGs will become obsolete.

First off pvp in D2 sucked, it was mostly people ganking so they could pick up your gold when you die.

Secondly D2 lasted a long time cause of the community (fan made forums),gear runs or simply Ba'al runs (Mephisto or Diablo runs before Ba'al came out) also old tristam runs to power lvl your character and ladder resets.

As much as I love D3, the game is getting destroyed by Blizzard, the stupid crap with Inferno jumping in difficulty, nerfing everything that made D2 for what it was like MF and item farming, they nerfed pony lvl, they made it so you have to farm elite packs for 5 stacks of NV so you can fight a boss...It seems Blizzard is trying to prolong the game by making crap stupid ridiculous so that way they don't have to worry about the D3 expansion for another 2-3 years or so.

According to the blizzard fanboys diablo was never about pvp.

Terrible class balance and people will buy the best of the best off the RMAH....sounds like a blast.

Uh no. No one is going to return to play this imbalanced and broken piece of garbage in a PVP setting. We want a loot system that works. Not boring PvP fights.
