Not really a bash at the Switch hardware, it's still weak, but come on Nintendo. You allow this crap on your store?
Also, who could turn down World War Battle Hero's Field Armies Call of Prison Duty Simulator!
Knew exactly what this thread was going to be about. 😅
Sadly this kind of trash is prevalent on all platforms these days.
All of the big three's e-shops are filled with this kind of trash. How many *insert food item* Jump games do consumers need?
It would be nice if they would start cracking down on this crap.
Oh man, the eShop is loaded with garbage like this, but this looks like the lowest of the low lol. It's a chore going through the eShop because of all this crap. How have I only just heard of this now?
Nintendo consoles in the past brought us the likes of Superman 64. Come on now...
Yep. Superman is very hard to beat because of it's difficultly and the many bugs and issues that plague the game.. The last hope isn't as hard to beat but If you mess up even once in the last hope you can't beat the game.
In the last hope if you
1. Sprint to much you can't swing your bat which makes it harder to kill zombies especially on some very annoying sections of the game. You do get three stamina refreshes though but if I recall they don't fully refill your guage.
2. If you shoot to many enemies with your guns you can't beat the game because you have a limited amount of ammo. You need a lot of ammo to beat the three lock picking sections
3. There are a few molotov cocktails you can get in the game but they won't help you much.
4. Also once you get eva you literally have to watch her like a hawk because one wrong move and she dies or it will become a lot harder to beat the game. John literally had to hide from zombies at some points of the game because if she goes into her defensive stance you have to literally kill all of the zombies around her to get her out of her defensive stance.
Why wouldn't you allow this?
People should be free to buy the games they want on the platform they want, even if it is crap.
Do gamers want console makers to tell them what is "quality"?
It looks like some do.
They would probably call that lack of choice a "curated collection"
I have to completely disagree with the DF video...i don't know what everyone is complaining about. The game looks brilliant. A true work of original art. I dont see any similarities between that and the last of us. Clearly 2 completely different games.
The graphics are a great throw back to late 90s 3D graphics but still with a touch of the cutting edge. I love the little nod to the past where they don't have any facial animation...a nice touch.
The level design is genius in it's simplicity. It's cleverly structured to ensure the player doesn't get lost. Nice wide open areas ensure the player doesn't get cornered in and can have fun moving and shooting while not always running into walls.
The complaint about a lack of weapons and ammo...well duh. It's a survivial game. You wont be running around with a full arsenal. GIT GUD SCRUB. It's an excellent implementation of survival. Authentic yet simple. Really helps enforce the atmosphere the game goes for (and executes so well).
Really this is a diamond of a game. A real treat for those with taste.
I shouldn't need this but /s. What was that company that made really trashy wii games (ok there was more than 1)...popcorn arcade? Really has that kind of stink about it. Awful Awful crap.
Since the Wii days, Nintendo is nothing else but a shovelware collector. Once per generation you will get your zelda and 1 3D mario to satisfy the nostalgic millennials, and other than that, eat your low effort trash pokemon games, the absolute worse 3rd party titles (if you're getting any to begin with) and the worst shovelware available on any platform. Systems made for people that don't take their hobbies seriously. It is what it is.
Platform holders should take a strong stance on delisting these games. It's their platform and their only power and relevance comes from making it a great place to play games. People who accidentally buy cheap trash on the eshop will be less happy with their Switch overall which is Nintendo's problem. When shit auto platinum games come out on Playstation, it cheapens the value of trophies which is Playstations problem, because having Achievements or Trophies be valuable collectibles makes players feel more stuck to their given ecosystem, so that's Sony's problem.
