Well I only planned on getting two games this month...COD AW and Far Cry but seeing as the COD AW online multi player is dull as dishwater I imagine I will pick up COD AW and The MCC asap also.

I seem to be the only person who thinks the new cod multiplayer is shit.

If you don't have it yet how can you pass judgment?

Typo I have COD AW and hate it, and I want far cry. But I imagine il pick up MCC and AC Unity at some point soon.

So yeah despite the fact I clearly cant type what I want to type I do own COD AW and I do think the multiplayer really sucks...specifically the ridiculous maps and lack of differentiation in gun power. I dont even think iv'e clocked over 10 hours yet, it sucks.

I play 10+ at a time but if there is one I really like or is really short to complete I might finish that on a weekend.

It works out ok and the games eventually start to get complete one after the other. But I continue to buy new releases every month and some are short so I prioritize these first like I said. That means some games in my backlog could take 1-3 years to complete until after the amount of new releases slow down in preparation for the next console gen.

Another way I benefit from playing multiple games at once: It allows me to take a break from a game that's pissing me off. I consider myself to be a pretty decent gamer. If a game has difficulty settings I switch it to the hardest or next highest difficulty straight out of the gate. This of course leads to occasions where I get stuck in games and get pissed off. Typically what I do is try a few more times. Once that fails, I turn off the game and do something else (usually play a different game). 9 times out of 10 I come back to the original game later and beat the section that was giving me problems on the first or second try.

@Ryan_Som:

Doesn't that build a huge backlog eventually?
