Ok, I love the style of all the metal gear games. I love the gameplay and the whole idea of sneaking missions. I got hooked to Metal Gear when MGS2 SOL was released. That being said there is one reason why I hate the MG series.

THIS ANNOYING PLOT.

I hate the fact that I have to do research on the metal gear games to understand WTF is going on, I mean seriously look at all this text in the metal gear forum

Honestly...I mean...common...HONESTLY?!

There is literally a metal gear bible I have to read.

There are so many damn characters.

I am not bashing the game for having a terrible story or anything, I just wish it wasn't so confusing.

This guy is this guys clone of this guys brother and he are the son of this guys mother and this guy is the clone of this guys father and asdkfjakldsfj!!!>>!>!>!??!?! wth is going on!!!!???

Does anyone else feel this way about the MG series?

Maybe pay more attention during those cutscenes.

I never found it that confusing, I mean, the end of Metal Gear Solid 2 is unbelievably convoluted and RIDICULOUS (still love it though, because of this fact somehow...) so that can be a bit hard to follow. Rest of the series though, I've never had any problems.

NOPE! I love its bonkers storyline to bits! :P Granted it can be a little confusing but that's what makes it so great, you can't simply reel off the storyline in just a few sentences because there's such a deep history to each of the many, many characters. MG is my favourite game series of all time and a lot of that is because of the intricate plot. It's a love or hate thing I guess...
