Yes. I spent $250 to get kicked in the nuts.CJL13seriousaly im even considering trading the Wii in. If i didnt love Zelda, Smash Bros, Metroid, Mario(platformers), and Fire Emblem id have done that in a heart beat. Im definantly supporting nintendo less on these threads. Until Nintendo shows me, that my tastes are something they still care about F nintendo because as far as im concerned the N64 and Gamecube were alot better efforts from Nintendo than the Wii so far.
well i sure dont plan on getting wii fitness. thats why i go to the gym with friends or play racquetball. for a game i just want to chill and have fun, not exercise. i wanted to hear about some real games, but they didnt tell of any new ones.
Not really, Nintendo still cares for hardcore gamers and I know that by the lineup they have. But what they really want is money. So this E3 they wanted to show that they are going after this huge market, and convince people they are in the right. I can't blame them for that. The only thing that would piss me off is if they stopped developing games like MP3 or SSBB.Drizzt13thats just it, i know we get what we know. but whats in 08. mario kart while fun isnt all that of an epic hardcore game. I want some more info. Im sick of this trash. Microsoft said they were only showing 07 stuff. so for me there show was excellent. sony was trying to regain some hype they lost from some tough things in the past. and they have me sold. Im sorry but i never expected to be backstabbed by Nintendo. of all the gaming companies i respect Nintendo the most. It really was a downer.
yeah or atleast more stuff like dates on stuff we know exists like No more heroes, Disaster, Fire emblem, etc. Whats with the complete lack of care for the core gamer. oh and mario and sonic is not a core gamer game. if anything that speaks casual.well i sure dont plan on getting wii fitness. thats why i go to the gym with friends or play racquetball. for a game i just want to chill and have fun, not exercise. i wanted to hear about some real games, but they didnt tell of any new ones.

Yes. I spent $250 to get kicked in the nuts.CJL13:lol: hahhaa CJL good one. Honestly i think us,well the ones thats actually been there for nintendo ever sense.NES,SNES,N64,GC.Have basicly gotten slapped in the face. They spent more time talking about the market then the games.
Nintendos E3 showing was so sickening that tomorrow im selling off my DS. Call that fanboyish or whatever but i feel Nintendo turned their back on me so why not return the favor?Carmilla31I dont blame u. I honestly was thinking about trading in the Wii and DS. Im keeping the DS for Zelda and ng. plus my niece loves pokemon and mario kart. and the wii has zelda, metroid, smash, fire emblem, mario platformers and nintendos consistantly great 1st party games. I mean if i didnt love there games so much, Id have sold the wii in a heartbeat. Seriousaly its one thing that they showed nothing of interest to sony and ms fans that might have wanted to see something. But to completely dissapoint your own hardcore fanbase is just sickening.

The diehard Nintendo fans. theguy whose first system was an snes and first game was donkey kong country and had fallen in love with videogames and nintendo on that very day. that guy just felt like he get spit on.
Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart Wii, Umbrella Chronicles, Metroid Prime 3 and all that were shown. The only bad thing was that Smash Brothers date was moved bvack again. And you had to know that all those games werent gonna be shown at this years E3 as the ocmpanies are narrowing their focus this year.
Kicked in the nuts? That would be Sony fans who had MGS4 pushed back (while hearing more and more indications that its going to be multiplatform), they had the downgrade from Killzone 2 (stil looks pretty good), and....not much else. Microsoft broke even.
it looks impressive, Its looks like an actual good game and not some generic piece of trash like killzone 1. its alot more promising IMO. and personally sony and ms had way better showings. they were 7s. Nintendos was a 2.I think all three press conferneces sucked
and killzone 2 dosent look any better than anything else,

its the entire showing in the first place. it was nothing but we sell to soccor moms. grandmas. that nbc loves us. that wii is becoming part of pop culture. it wasnt about gaming. it was the biggest showcase of a sellout if i have ever seen one.Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart Wii, Umbrella Chronicles, Metroid Prime 3 and all that were shown. The only bad thing was that Smash Brothers date was moved bvack again. And you had to know that all those games werent gonna be shown at this years E3 as the ocmpanies are narrowing their focus this year.

I get MP3, SBB:B, and SMG before Christmas. Why the hell should I care about some dumb press conference that no one will care about six weeks from now?y2kzorakill be getting those 2. and enjoying them alot. question is how much do i get after. and will it be as great as the previous stuff. or will this love for casuals and nongamers be where majority of Nintendos philosophy will be.

Because that dumb press conference showcases your consoles future and the Wiis future looks like its full of casual trash.
Money>Loyalty
Good thing Kojima doesn't have that mindset. I was highly disappointed with the Nintendo showing, that was by far the worst thing i've ever watched. Only good announcements were Mario Kart andSSBB and SMG release dates.
Give me a break. You and "hardcore gamers" obviously know damn well what "hardcore" games are coming out for the Wii. That is what makes you a hardcore gamer. Nintendo was using the press conference to advertise for casuals. It's part of their marketing campaign. If you care more about their marketing than their games, you are not a hardcore gamer.
You'll see trailers and you'll see news about the games you want. So they're not glamorized by some flashy 1 hour presentation. SO what? Nintendo knows the core market is already familiar with their upcoming hardcore games, and that casuals don't care about them, so they focused their conference on presenting new things that further their expansion goals. I don't know why you're getting worked up about it.
dude... i hope u know that not only hardcore players play video games. they are trying to appeal to casual players so they can make more money. and because of that they are sellouts? if they dont make any money, how do u expect them to keep giving u the games u want to play? please think before u make a post. thanks.ayotaylothe whole show is meant for hardcore gamers not casuals to begin with. also its not the lack of games mentioned. its the whole format of there conference. stats, montages, nbc loves them, soccor moms and grandmas. I mean i didnt want an hour lecture about how they are extending the market and how they will do the "impossible". I wanted them to show me some games, show me that the games aimed for me are still there. Did they to a very small degree yes. but did Wiifit need more in depth play than SMG no. than MP3 no. where were the newgames like Disaster, Project Hammer, and where were no more heroes, zack and wikki, fire emblem, and bwii. Thats the real problem they showed zero care for there core fanbase.
what F ing soccor mom is watching E3. please id love to know. exactly this whole event is for hardcore gamers and they gave us very minimal info. where was Fire emblem, BWii DIsaster, Project Hammer. The conference was very dissapointing.Give me a break. You and "hardcore gamers" obviously know damn well what "hardcore" games are coming out for the Wii. That is what makes you a hardcore gamer. And your thoughts that Nintendo didnt show the hardcore games because we already know of them is utterly ridiculous. Did Nintendo not mention SSBB online because we all know it has online? Did Nintendo not mention Metroid Primes multiplayer because we all know it has it? No! Nintendo didnt mention any of those things because they didnt have any of them!Give me a break. In my eyes Nintendo failed. I was debating whether i should get a 360 or wii after I got a PS3. At first I was leaning towards the Wii, but now Im staying away from that thing at least until all this casual BS is done. I know hardcore games are coming(MP3,SSBB and no more heros look great) but Nintendo showed me thats not there main focus and that there more interested in making games for my momand not me. So goodbye Nintendo hello 360(wow Id never though Id say that, mean Im such an anti lemming but man Nintendo really blew it...for me anyway)
