I know there's a Hype Thread floating around here somewhere. 

I don't get excited for games too often nowadays, but I'm seriously considering setting a clock and jumping in the freezer.

Ridiculously psyched. Still need to finish Bioshock 2, but I just don't enjoy it as much as the first.

Gonna need to grab Ascension before this, though.

Looking forward to it, will play as soon as I can... I'm only a bit sad it uses the now dated UE3, while the art style and setting both look great, from what I see, technical visuals can't really keep up with the developer's vision, damaging the immersion factor. From the last trailer I saw, the shooting feels a bit stiff too, just like in previos Bioshock games.

Still, those aren't very big complaints, and probably won't have a noticeably negative impact on the game. Enjoyed both Bioshock games a lot!

I have it on pre order but I don't know what all the fuss is about tbh...I played through Bioshock 1 and thought the gameplay was dog sh!t.

I Have to have this game... but i haven't finished Bioshock 2... the second i finish it i'll buy this game.

I hardly get games at launch but this games looks fantastic, and cant pass up on getting bioshock and xcom:eu for free. Hope it is great but kind of sad it does not unlock on steam until 1pm on the 26redskins26rocs

Can't wait to get that Wii U version.

Can't wait until next Monday night. Took off of work on Tuesday so it's going to be an all nighter. Infinite will be a great end to a great month for gaming.

Shhhh I still trying to keep the hype to an absolute minimum. I honestly can NOT wait to experience this game, it's gonna be all kinds of fvcking awesome. But I really don't want it getting hyped around here. I'm so glad people here aren't going at it like say TLOU or something along those lines. That chatter ruins my interest in some games.

Bioshock 2 had a different developer (skippable honestly), this is Ken Levine and Irrational in all their glory.

He's a faceless protagonist who we know very very little about. Who's to say that's not what he actually looks like or the age he's supposed to be?

imo biochock 2 was no where as good as the first, but i'm very interested in this as the stories written by the same guy who wrote the first bioshockquidy123

I'm quite a ways through, and it really isn't. This seems far better.

He isn't faceless. He has own identity and personalty from the start.

Indeed. I thought the dual weilding of weapons and plamids was great in Bioshock 2, but the game as a whole just didn't do it for me like Bioshock 1 did. And it's definitely because it was a different dev. Irrational made the first one, and 2k wanted a sequel, so they had... 2k marin, I think it was.. make Bioshock 2. Irrational has been working on Infinite since before Bioshock 2 launched.
