Online Pass feels like a scam but...

That feeling you get when you buy a game used and it happens to have an unused Online Pass code inside it.

Online pass isnt that bad but they really need to give atleast 2 codes for each copy so that 2 people can play online and a 3rd person will end up paying. why da f**k would i need to pay when my brother has BF3 already?

Blame the console pirates, they are killing the industry and forcing devs to use DRM. The devs need those lost sales man!

I don't see why Online Passes can't be used like PC Passcodes.

I hate the one time use thing I mean you already bought the game why should you rebuy it just to play it?

I like it when there's no online passes more.

While I am not a fan of Online passes. I've found that with the exception of ME3, and Gears 3 I haven't had a desire to use any of them yet. Most of the games that have online passes have crappy online anyway.

I dont know if online passes are so bad compared to pc situation. You need to buy new game to play online.

I remember one time that I bought Resistance 2 used and there was a code that would give me all the DLC for the game. The codes worked, now I get the entire Resistance 2 package and Sony/Insomiac Games don't get my money. Well, its not like I didn't buy Sony stuff used. I got their system and some of the games new (who buys systems used?).

I've never had that happen to me. Online Passes are the worst thing this generation has in my opinion, even beating motion controls and DLC. I just despise publishers playing the system like this.

How is it a scam? You don't have to pay anything extra if you bought the game new.
