Why Onlive will be out late 09. So within 5 years after release MS will defiantly be in the game and offer a service like this and most likely better. So Then that leaves Sony yeah right Sony they will be dumb founded if this takes off. There only chance would to be team up with Apple or something. But that will be lame most likely.Well first off after the onlive announcement Sony was the first to talk about the whole PS cloud whatever thing which is like that, 2nd Onlive will fail.

Fixed it for him. Must of been confused, I thought it was pretty obvious the entire thing is going to fail.
I'm interested in OnLive but I want to know what the price will be if it is reasonable I would defenately want to buy it.
I don't know, if I can use Mouse/Keyboard or motion controls, I'd look in to it, though I think it's still too early.Onlive will FAIL MISERABLY in north america.

PC, Mac, and to play it on tv just plug the Keyboard and Mouse into the 2 USB ports in that box. I don't know what to call it they don't want to call it a Console but it is kind've like a console that you can carry around in you pocket.Onlive will FAIL MISERABLY in north america.

Over the next 5 years this is what will happen Onlive will ROCK HARD. And MS Is for sure already underway working to develope a service to try and take over and >>>Onlive. Sadly when the dust clears in several years Sony may be left out in the cold for good. Sony really does not have the capasity or funds to even compete in this arena in regards to running game servers and developing software. Or they might try but will fail hard trying to compete againts MS developeing software and tools and Onlive is already there. They have been in stealth development for 7 years. And now MS will just get there wheel moving and smack down a ton of BLING$$$ to catch up and out do Onlive. But honestly Sony will be so lost in this shuffle.ronjon_09
So this whole thread speculates OnLive will succeed, MS will be next to the market, even though Sony have openly said they are looking into Cloud computing. I'm not saying it won't happen, but based on circumstantial evidence right now (all we can do), it states your theory is probably wrong.
This thread is so fail, it's not even funny... Well it is a little
Best joke thread in recent memory, but il give it a serious answer. First off, OnLive is not guaranteed to be good, odds are it will fail and be forgotten. But in the case it does succeed, Sony seems to have already taken percaution my patenting their own version which offers similar things, "PS Cloud". As for software... Sony dominates Microsoft when it comes to first party software, like stated earlir today Sony's first party studios are larger then MS and Nintendos put together.
