I hate the main character design with passion (looks like a cheap Power Ranger/Master Chief mix) and the writting and plot are gonna be terrible, we know that. But the action looks fast and intense, and the gameplay looks very solid. So I'm hyped. Just don't screw the soundtrack (like in Bayonetta's case), please.

Agreed on the plot will be stupid, but I don't give a rats ass about that :)

Generic means something that is common, not unique. Vanquish doesn't look very unique to me. It looks just like yet another science-fiction action/adventure shooter. Might it be a solid game? Maybe, it's too early to tell. But with what I've seen so far nothing about it stands out to me.

Which is good. It's going to be an all out kickass singleplayer game without any of the "me too!" multiplayer components that tends to ruin singleplayer.

That is true. It is good in a way since they can primarily focus on making a top notch campaign. I just love co op games. I'll probably get this as well but I want to see some more gameplay before I'm sold

bayoetta soundtrack was amzing , i loved it
I liked it a lot too. Some really catchy songs in that game.
