Orange Box Delayed!!!

For the ps3.

That's a bummer. I remember a Valve rep saying he wasn't too fond of the PS3, I wonder if the delay is due to a closer relationship to the PC and the 360? Or just that the PS3 development is just taking a little bit longer?

Valve is one of the few companies that does almost everything right. Besides the port to the PS3 was outsourced to EA, If anyone is to blame for the delay it's the folks at EA.

yeah he did actually. I dunno if i want to put a link out for the same reason as the TC but they called the ps3 a disaster.

Valve isn't developing the Orange Box on PS3, EA is, but is being assisted by Valve in some ways, Valve themselves are working on the PC and 360 versions.

Newell's reason why he dislikes the PS3 most likely directly relates to this delay.. He has said it before that it is very hard to devolpe a game on that system compared to others.

well duh, the ps3 version is made after the 360 version is being made. an thats what most devs out there do, rather fix it up right than to release a sloppy port

didnt know ea was handling the ps3 one. looks like it would blow anyway, since ea has their hands on it. 360 wins another multiplat battle against the ps3.
