anyone who has played both will tell you that the PC version is a lot better...but only half of its content is new, which is why the PC version gets a lower score....
just think about it...TF2 on the 360 has lag, a lot of it, and only a 16 player cap. The PC runs and looks a lot better, has no cap, and has a map editor. Plus its actualy cheaper.
Is it really that hard to tell?
Only Wok7 would make a thread like this. What's the matter Wok, you worried PC's might be able to do HD soon?DragonfireXZ95
I hear Nvidia is coming close to a video card that can actually output HD...but apparently only NASA has access to it at the moment, and it wont go public for another few years.

lol, good stuff man.
lol Good one, maybe those nextgen video cards will actually have visuals that justify their high price, let alone widen the output ratio of the PC vs Console, that gap has been closing ever so tightly since the last gen of consoles ya know : 1wok7
no, its getting a lot larger every month. (crysis)
The 360 version is not as good as the PC. The PC has better graphics, plus framerate where as The Orange Box for the 360 has framerate problems (onlya few) for HL2: EP2.
my friend has both PC & X360 versions & he says PC version is a lot better.CwlHeddwyn
your friend would be right ;)
wok7, do you remember the PC cant do HD thread? Seriously, go away.JJ_1Yes wok7,go away because i can play all my games in HD,720p,900p,1050p,you name it 8)

You're about as credible as Gamespot.
From playing both, I'm actually surprised with the 360 version, just because on the original Xbox, HL2 looked like crap and had framerate issues at the same time. Mods uaully don't count in ratings, but... I prefer the PC version just because I can download SMod and use exploding BANANNAS.
You can't use banannas on no console.
you cant even play TF2 on the 360 because of lag
mattyomo99
I must have been playing Team Fortress 3 then, because although there is a LOT of lag it is not game destroying as in some games. It just takes a little while to find a decent game and then you will be fine.
The thing with the Orange Box on the 360 is that it is a pretty excellent port of PC games, enhanced graphics and the games are intact from their originals on the PC (pretty much anyway). A rare thing indeed.... *Looks to FEAR 360*.

so true. i played the pc version when it first came out and the 360 version and without a doubt i can say that the pc version is by far superior. the controls on the 360 version are subpar and at times erratic where as the controls on the pc version are just perfect. the pc version also has gary's mod and the high-res skins mod which make it all the more better. seriously, i don't know what the devs were thinking but they should have left half-life 2 on the pc where it belongs.

Valve loves money just like everybody else.
Unfortunately for the PS3, EA also loves money.

I hope you're talking about the price gap between PC ad Consoles, lol

That's pretty true right there, and the fact that TF2 is WAY too fast to be played on consoles IMO.
I was going to previous post "Leave 'em alone with that infamous post of HD. Its a bit old" but this silly stuff makes wonder why I didn't

I get occasional hiccups sometimes, but come on.
I kind of agree with that, only TF2 is better due to 32 players online and no lag so that puts it way ahead.I like the 360 version's of HL2 because I prefer a controller over kb/m and I can talk to friends while playing single-player. (I have only 2 friends on steam and they're never on now because of second-life and a broken computer.

Your ignorance and n00bishness NEVER ceases to amaze me.1. Crysis isn't a Run-and-Gun FPS like FAILo,in fact,Crysis is probably the beginning of the ned for run-and-gun shooters.
2. PC Gaming is more expensive than consoles,i don't deny that, but you probably have a PC you got a year or two ago and it likely has a PCI-E slot,so just get a HD 2600XT and experince the goodiness of PC Gaming.
You fail

no i loved the orange box, portal=best thing ever made.
and an awesome game like TF2 is just ruined by only being able to play 1or2 good matches out of 10
and thats why the PC version beats the 360 version because vary rarely will there be lag
