Tower Defence, of the type were you also control a character to attack alongside the usual defenses.

Oh yeah.. little bit of that but more me and some friends wanted a TD/RPg with coop to it.. We did sanctum for a while after years of Warcraft 3 custom maps and dungeon defenders seems to be the perfect evolution to the genre we want. On a single player aspect, Orcs must die is looking BEASTLY... Def will be watching out for it.

Downloading the demo on Steam right now.
