Now you won't have to pay horrible prices for the Wii version.
Thanks to @YearoftheSnake5 and his nipples for the heads up.

I'm still pondering if I should get it cheaper and digitally for the Wii U eShop when/if it comes to NA, or if I should get the physical 3DS version.
Fucking hell misleading title. I already knew a week ago it was coming to the EU eshop I thought this would be about NA. Good job, OP

I couldn't type "in Europe" in the title, and I didn't see a thread about this here so I thought: why not?

Word.
If it's not in the NA eshop then it's like it doesn't even really exist.
Hold the goddamn telephone, Xenoblade Wii is on the WiiU eshop?
Yep
Want to see how much it will be here in NA.
Wii games are $20 on the eShop.
Yep
Picking that shit up. After Pursohnah
The superior JRPG anyway.

This is a lot better than trying to find a disk on Ebay these days.

Definitely, those go for $200 or above.
I'm getting this on 3DS anyway- JRPGs are far better on handhelds for me.

I should try that as well..
N3DS owners must feel screwed...
I think owners of sealed copies of the physical Wii version should feel a little more screwed.......

My nipples aim to please. I'm wondering when we'll be able to reserve the SE. I want to give Nintendo my money. Just just have to let me.

Well, just remember, you need a New 3DS to be able to play Xenoblade.
Speaking of 3DS, man, you're playing a lot of Mario Kart 7 these days :P

Duh. Most publishers don't give a shit about Europe idk why Nintendo does

I mean, with only one exclusive game that is also a port and the NX on its way...

Why should they feel screwed? Some of us don't want to pay $100 for a sealed copy. The physical copy will always be worth something.
.... I might be the only one to wish this, but I'd buy a special edition of XCX if it included a disc version of the first Xenoblade Chronicles.
It would almost be worth the $20 to own a version that I didn't have to worry about keeping batteries charged to play.

That would be pretty cool.
I'm wondering if the game runs better in digital form, will load times be faster, less frame drops, less pop in? I've been looking online and cant find any answers, Nintendo just put this game out there without a single word, the wii's biggest RPG and the best RPG of last gen and they don't build up a single smidgen of hype.

They didn't even want to bring it out here, until fans got on their ass and forced the issue. Lets just be glad the dang thing IS out.

Yeah I'm really glad, I have the physical copy for the Wii, played and finished it over last Christmas, put in over 110 hours in about 7 days, got almost no sleep, the game was that good. I'm extremely happy they brought it to more people, just sucks they didnt say one thing about it.

You are not the only one.
Meh, I'll just get normal version, that's IF I get it, not even sure about that yet.
Come to think about it, have Monolith Soft released the Xenosaga games on the PS3's PS2 classics section yet? Wanted to try those years ago, haven't yet.
Anyhow, I guess if I at least get this I can (if they do it for North America) play the Wii game on my Wii U, as I never had the Wii game. Of JRPGs I never got to play on my Wii I'd rather play Last Story though.
Anyhow, another title Nintendo of America is fucking dropping the ball on. Fucking hate NoA, I give them hell all the time but they're always deleting my Tweets.
I think i just want the regular edition, im not a fan of steelcases. Wish i could get the collectors with the regular case.

Good idea actually. :P
Are there plans for the NA eShop? Also, what controllers are supported for Wii titles?
They're not saying yet.
Wii games on the eShop use their original controllers. So, it depends on the game. They use Wii mode settings without you needing to go into Wii mode. There are no big changes outside how you open the software and returning to the dashboard.

Ive been getting all my RPGs on the Vita/3DS lately too. Mostly because they dont really make RPGs anymore. Plus getting some old PS1 games I already have on disc downloaded. I dunno why.
Ive come to realize how nice it is to have tons of games in your hands with the system, rather than also having to carry around a case to keep all the cards or mini discs in. And I used to be a huge anti-download advocate. People change I guess.

Its been more or less proven that a rare/expensive game's price will not be effected by its sudden digital availability. Because those physical copies continue to be rare.
Go to a used game store and you will wont find FF7 physically for under $30, and its usually more. Suikoden 2 is still over $100 and you can get it for $10 on the PSN.

Exactly. The physical copies are still collector's items and will still hold value. For those who just want to play the game and don't care about the collection aspect, digital distribution is a great way to get the experience without being gouged.

Man, I hope they release it and soon. It's been a long time since I played it.
