Other Facts

The other day I saw an interesting post which had some funny facts about the industry. This thread was the inspiration for this new "facts of the 360". Unlike the last one, this one is intentionally made to create a discussion, after all, this is System Wars.

Facts -

•1) 2008 is going to be again the Year of the 360. (most games, better versions of multiplats, best seller- the Wii might not sell the same as 2007)

•2) Sony is scared of MS, MS is scared of Wii, Wii doesn't care about the other two.

•3) MGS4 is not going to be better than SP

•4) Sony did the motion sensing controls at the last moment to try and catch up.

•5) Most people buy PS3 because of a promise from Sony that hasn't arrived.

•6) 360 is a better choice over a PC - If it had mouse and keyboard support for some games it would be perfect.

•7) The damage rate of the 360 is not as high as some people want you to believe.

•8) 360 always knew there might be the possibility of HD-DVD loosing the format war. That's why they have HD content on XBLA and never made HD-DVD out of the box.

•9) DVD format still holds 90% of the market.

•10) XBLA has more content online TODAY than what the PS3 will ever have in its lifespan.

•11) Peter Moore never left. He's still being consulted.

•12) Sony held close to 90% of the market last gen. Today, holds 21%.

•13) People still buy PS3 because of "brand-name" and what PS2 represented last gen.

•14) Next gen will come earlier than what analyst have predicted, because Sony will try to do what MS did this gen, and launch PS4 one year ahead of the competition.

•15) It is harder to program for the PS3 than it is in the 360. That will never change.

•16) PS3 has sold 40% less than what Sony execs were expecting.

•17) Lair sucks. ASS

•18) Dead Rising is one of the greatest games this generation

•19) The first Condemned game was underrated.

•20) Halo 3 is going to be bigger (sells) than all the games coming out this year for the PS3.

•21) PS3 fanboys will trash this thread 10 min after it's posted.

•22) 360 fanboys will defend it.

•23) Most of the facts here are true...that's what's going to piss them off.

•24) Fable 2 will be amazing.

•25) Ninja Gaiden 2 is going to be Awesome

•26) If we turned everything around, and put the 360 in the spot where PS3 is right now, the 360 would have died the moment the announcement of SIXAXIS controller or when Lair came out. PS3 took such a blow because of the fanbase it had last gen.

•27) FF XIII is going to come too late.

a lot of that stuff is true, if you remove the fanboy stuff

the wii has taken over that casual ps2 fanbase. the ps3 will hit a glass ceiling and unless it has a massive! price drop people just wont buy it when you could get a wii or 360 with enough cash spare to buy a tonne of great games

You base this on what???? Last I new the Wii was still sold out and it selling more systems right now then it did this time last year.

You make a list of what you call "facts" but it is mostly just your opinions, such as "Ninje Gaiden is the greatest game ever" or "I am really super cool."

Then you expose your own trolling when you add, "anyone who disagrees with this thread is a stupid fanboy who isn't smart as me."
