My only answer to that is MGS4.

Hell after MGS4 I might as well call it quits, because every other game there on in IMO

will be all downhill.

It's been like that since this gen started. A bunch of cookie cutter games with shiny graphics, with only a few diamonds in the rough.

Well, for one I think Halo 3 will have a good single player, but on top of that, all my friends are big Xbox360/Halo fanboys and they won't be playing UT 3. That said, I think UT will be awesome as well and I'll be getting it later this year.

In the end though, I'm pretty sure Mass Effect will be the game I play the most out of all those. Bioware hasn't let me down yet and ME looks to be another solid game from them.

You cows should learn from your mistakes. Don't overhype a game, you know very well what can happen if you do.

MGS4 may be end up being a great game, but it can also end up being - I won't say Lair, but - a Heavenly Sword. Take it easy, the game won't launch so soon, and a lot can happen to it meanwhile.
