Not only it is much more fun to play than the competition but it also gets the best free DLC ever. This time it's Halloween update. Also you can check all the game major updates. What FPS else gets such an awesome support by developers?

Last time i checked, i decided what was fun for me to play not you.
And in case you didnt get that it means its an opinion, not a fact.
It used to be, until it started overflowing itself with unneeded and compromising updates. I feel that the class updates eventually hurt the balance of the game, and destroyed any chance of any player having air to breathe to show individual skill. As generous as the TF2 team have been, their "awesome" support mainly ruined the game for me.
Unrealistic? Yo do know that that's just about all shooters ever released, right?

ARMA says hi.
As for TC, Halo says hi.

TF2 > Halo, lmao.I feel that the class updates eventually hurt the balance of the game, and destroyed any chance of any player having air to breathe to show individual skill.

I'm going to have to disagree with that. Good players will always top the scoreboards regardless of what weapon they're using, and the unlockable weapons are usually harder to use or far more situational than the standard gear.
..
The game really is a lot of fun to play, and given that its $10 now its an absolute steal. That Halloween Horseman has a stick up has a** about me for some reason.alextherussian
Killed him and got his "head" to wear :D

Me too. Is the special metal only dropped by melee-ing him to death or is it random? It dropped 3 times and it seemed random to me.[QUOTE="Orchid87"][QUOTE="alextherussian"]That Halloween Horseman has a stick up has a** about me for some reason.KungfuKitten

I said just about all. I know ArmA and Operation Flashpoint are realistic.
wait, when did MW2 and KZ2 become realitsic? Are we now putting those in the realism catagory?
Anyway i agree, TF2 is the best online shooter (untill Red Orchestra 2 comes out).
Definitely one of the best FPS and probably my favorite. And the Halloween update was great. I think this and last year's Halloween have been my favorite updates. Is Horseless Headless Horseman still going to be around even after Halloween? And yay I found one of those Halloween gift.:P

Well when one says 'realistic' I guess they're referring more so to what the FPS is striving for. For example, MW2 is striving for realism.
Maybe graphically, but the gameplay in COD sure as hell isn't striving for realism. Try taking 5 bullets in the back of the leg from a Mini-Uzi, then hiding behind a crate for 5 seconds and getting right back up and running across the battlefield like nothing happened. lolIf game developers want to make a realistic FPS they should make it so there's no perks or powerups, 1 bullet kills or at least wounds you to the point of no longer being able to continue battling, switching weapons and reloading actually takes time to put the other weapon aside or get the new ammo clip out, explosives kill you pretty much no matter what, etc etc .
Another thing that's terribly unrealistic about Call Of Duty games is that when someone is shooting from behind a wall or something you can only see a little bit of their head popping out... how the hell does that make sense? Shouldn't the bullets be hitting the wall? Is Infinity Ward implying that people shoot from their eyes? Because last I knew, when you're shooting a gun and something's right in front of you the gun(and your arms/shoulders) need to be above the object in front of you in order for you to shoot past it. Unrealistic.
