I was just wondering how many of them were sports games like Madden.

Dang, MGS4 and FFXIII are not on that list. =(

But how many of them will be good? PS3 only has a few good titles in it's future, and most of those could pull a Lair. I won't be impressed until games start getting good previews, they look good, AND they get good reviews. Etheral_Filcher

You never know. Some games never live up to the hype while others exceed it. You cannot assume every game will turn out like Lair. Still, TGS will be exciting.

Reviews matter to a point if they didnt matter we wouldnt have people reviewing games. Reviews can help people decide to get a game or not if they cant make up their mind on a type of game. I dont let reviews be the main pointwith a game; if itis appealing to me I will check it out.PS3 could have 1000 games playable at TGS its nothing to really get excited or brag about. Like a few people said how do you know they will be good everyone of those games could suck ass to someone out there.

WOW! 40 titles and NOTHING new. Seen them all at other shows. Hell, half of them have been out (here) for a while.

I am sure Ratatouille, Pirates of the Caribbean,and Transformers will blow Japan away, though.

FFXIII, FFvs.III, MGS4, White Knight Story, etc, etc.

PS3 has a lot of good titles in its future. And yes, most of them "could" pull a Lair, but most of them "could" pull a AAA too. So I don't see the point in your negative speculation.

Did you look at the list? At least 10 of them are bad. 11 are already out and with the exception of Warhawk, all reviews are poor. Then you got the sports games. Then you got the train simulator. Then you got the jockey simulator. etc

A few might be good, I'll give you that, but thats a waste of 20 booths at least.

Hmm, most of those games on the list seem to besports and liscensed games, "list fluff" in other words. On the other hand, I do see a number of games that look promising to demo/play at TGS. So the list is a decent showing overall.
