Kinda glad that it's not F2P. The game looks awesome, and good thing that Console gamers will be able to enjoy it too. Can't wait.

I don't really care that it's multiplat, I care that it's being sold for $40. Even if it's still F2P on PC the microtransactions are going to be complete cashgrabs based on WoW, HOTS, and Hearthstone.

But I still would have preferred this remained a PC-focused game. That wasn't very evident based on gameplay though, the viewmodels on guns are fucking enormous and there originally wasn't going to be a way to change the FOV. Also the gameplay seems slow enough to lend itself to controller input

I beg to differ. A lot of PC guys from what I hear, are really enjoying the beta. Also, I primarily game on PC, and I would love to test it out myself.

I recently tested out Battleborn as well.

Spring is already too packed with Deus Ex, Uncharted 4, Street Fighter V, Ratchet and Clank, Doom. Not interested in this.

If it wasn't coming to consoles, we'd have more features in the game, as in more skills and weapons. Now they have to make it work with a controller, thus giving us PC gamers a worse game. They said it would be a PC exclusive and it looked to be the next TF2. Which would've been huge, but now it'll instead be a half-assed multiplat. Wouldn't you be mad if a game you've been looking forward to for long just got way worse gameplay wise?

Glad blizzard came to their senses and is releasing it for the controller master race

Played the beta a lot this week. The game is dissapointing. Whatever PC gamers you're talking about can't be TF2/CS/UT players. Or they've forgot what made those games good.

Well, Brink had a lot of potential.

So I'm looking forward to what a Brink 2.0 could be.

@remiks00: What are your impressions with Battleborn? As a huge fan of co-op shooters (console), I've been interested in this game. I am a little off-set by the art/character models though.

Blizzard games are usually optimized to run on toasters and Overwatch isn't exactly a beauty. I'm sure things will be fine. The real concern is using a controller.

Cool that it's multi-plat, just means blizzard gets more money to make the game better. Cant wait to play it on PC.

It confirms the game is a microtransaction shitfest where you have to buy heroes and cosmetics. The Origins Edition doesn't come with all the heroes included

LMFAO...I called this on the very first thread where this game was posted a "PC exclusive" and some dumb herms tried to challenge, but It is just as I said.

I don't even really care about this game tho I may pick up cheap but I guess herms won't be praising this anymore...

I beg to differ, Overwatch from what I have seen (have not played the beta) looks amazing with a great art atheistic to it that will make it age far better than most games..

How is Heroes of the Storm a cash grab? The only thing you can't get with in game currency are mounts and skins, completely optional things that don't affect the game play..

Well, it's Blizzard, and they have shown wonderful restraint with microtransactions so far, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on this. Overwatch looks awesome.

Lots of MP only games are selling for 60 these days (Evolve, Titanfall, R6 Siege, Battlefront), have you been living under a rock? 40 is not that bad..

this is really surprising though, seemed the general consensus was this would be F2P

Eh what? all versions come with all 21 heroes included.

All I have to go by is Hearthstone, which is probably the best use of microtransactions that comes to me off the cuff.

There is no 40$ package for Consoles. The game is 60$ on PS4 and Xbox One.

This would seem more along the lines of Heroes of the Storm, which does the similar thing to LoL/Smite with rotating free heroes and you can buy skins

@BigBadBully: Personally, I found it very enjoyable. Plays similar to borderlands (Which I am also a fan of). Meltdown mode was really fun. it was a bit moba-ish, but different. First team to reach 500 points by escorting your teams minions to a giant machine in the middle of the map that eats them, wins. You also have to use yellow-shards you pick up from around the map to build/repair turrets and defenses to stop the assault from enemy players & minions.

Every belong to a certain class (support, assault, etc), character abilities are pretty neat. But I will say that game could possibly have balancing issues at launch because their are 21 characters so far. So I wouldn't be surprised.

Ultimately, it's a team based game, so your team will need to work together to win.

Pretty sure they've mentioned that theres absolutely no single player. There may be bots, but i don't think they are for anything other than training mode.
