Owning only one of three consoles (or only pc) = fanboy?

I feel like in System Wars, if you only own one console, or only a gaming PC, then people label you as a fanboy. Does anybody else find this true?
I only own a PS3, but I love playing 360 or Wii when I'm at my friends' house. I have the utmost respect for games such as Gears of War, Halo, Mario Kart, or Super Smash Bros Brawl. Do you guys feel labeled as cows, sheep, lemmings, or hermits when in fact you aren't?

Yes and no, heck, my older brother only games on 360 and never touches the PS3, PC and Wii, and I do have those systems too.

i'm more of an xbox fan but i only own a ps3, i sold my xbox months ago cuz i was annoyed with rrod

My mom doesn't have enough money to buy me another console. That doesn't mean I'm a fanboy.

I think it would be more difficult not to be a fanboy with only one console, but not impossible by any means. Chances are if you own more consoles you will see the merits in them all and be more open to their strengths and weaknesses. If you are a rational person however, owning one console would probably not deter you from making the same logical conclusions for each console, regardless of owning them or not. That allbeing said, in System Wars you can be called a fanboy for stating no more than your opinion so, I wouldn't worry about it too much :P

People feel like they need to say that they own more to not be labeled as a fanboy. But really if you own more systems then your a Cow, Lem, Sheep, and Hermit.

Not necessarily, no. It could be that they can't afford owning more than one. Besides, there are a lot of ppl who own all 4/more than one and are extremely biased towards an specific system.

Of course ur not a fanboy if you only have 1 system. I've been labeled lemming and console fanboy before just because I didn't agree on what the opposition think. For example i said 1 of the ps3 exclusives wasn't appealing to me or i prefer gaming on console over pc even though i own a rig myself.

I love all my systems but i guess fanboys are jealous because they cant buy another system or brand loyalty so they cry and moan and downplay the system they dont have o-o.

Im willing to bet that everyone has been called a fanboy at least once here on SW.

There is no problem with someone only owning one console/PC cause there could be many reason to why that is. . . so no they are not the hatred fanboys! It's those that have the one system and go out of their way to bash any and all systems they don't own while praising their system as the second coming even though it has flaws of its own.

not owning all the console do not make you a fanboy at all. but NOT wanting to own all the platforms because of some misguided loyalty to a brand does

You're only a fanboyif you promote your system while putting other systems down at the same time. That's my view.

I own all three consoles plus both major handhelds and I'm still considered a PS3 fanboy (even though I'm not really one) just because I would rather play my PS3 than deal with a red ring of death or waggle myself to death. Oh wait...whoops. :P

nah, people are only fanboys when they bash the systems that they don't own, or blindly praise something, despite its shortcomings.

I only own a PS3, I dont want or need any other console. I laugh when people start their threads with "Firstly, id like to point out that I own all three consoles.." Honestly, who cares._Cadbury_

I agree with this...

I was actually going to write the exact same thing until i saw this.

I only own a 360....and people seem pretty quick to label me a Sony Supporter. :P
