After Playing Hulk, and Spiderman 2, and The Driver Games, The Getaway Games, all The GTA games, The True Crime Games, Saints Row, Scarface, and Godfather to name a few.
I don't know how I will feel.
But in Hulk and Spidey 2, you had strength and jumping, it was fun, though.
Alot higher than i expected from anyone...i'd be curious to see what GS gives it. The only thing that annoys me when i see the videos is the Lock on feature in the game...f***ing annoying. Why would you want to be able to auto target when you can just pop them in the head? Heh, i'm sure you're able to disable it though. The game looks great regardless.
Theres a cross hair on the screen at all time, It's just if you press LT that the lock on gets used.Alot higher than i expected from anyone...i'd be curious to see what GS gives it. They have given it... 9/10! +Brilliant. An absolute riot. +Amazingly fun co-op. +Car handling is excellent. +Abilities liven up the genre. -Missions not varied enough. Heres what they said in the final paragraph... "For outrageousness and pure entertainment value, Crackdown is the most fun sandbox game to date. It's arguably a little unfocused as a single-player game, but get a mate to join and this becomes one of Xbox Live's killer-apps. It's a game that screams fun - a truly brilliant addition to the sandbox part. Crackdown is style. Crackdown is all-out fun. Crackdown is and absolute riot!" Halo 3 Beta or not, I am definately getting this game :DThe-0neCrackdown is impressive http://xboxmovies.teamxbox.com/xbox-360/4137/Los-Muertos-Revealed/

Fair enough. I just won't hit the left trigger or i'll deactivate it completely. :)
Ditto. I'm a bit sandboxed. I'll definitely try out the demo released in a week or two though. After Playing Hulk, and Spiderman 2, and The Driver Games, The Getaway Games, all The GTA games, The True Crime Games, Saints Row, Scarface, and Godfather to name a few.

You sir do not know what you speak. Crackdown has 3 island districts. Each District is run by a specific gang and each gang has 7 increasing hard henchmen to take down then its district kingpin. Also there is the game mechanic of using your abilities to become stronger at that ability. I would bet there is 7 hours of gameplay finding the 500 orbs increasing agility alone. Please research a game alittle more before you bash it, then again if you actually researched it, then you might find it interesting and we can't have that can we? Since you are a cow, god forbide an X360 game is good.

Furthermore, I didn't notice length of game as being one of the negatives so please provide a link for your 7 hrs statement.
Never trust official magazines... Shazenab

[QUOTE="El_Fanboy"]That review said it was the best sandbox game to date.....rockstar183wow . better than gta vice city and sa never . I mean why not it's happened with many games before, eventually they'll go down. Maybe it will be the best game to date, since it is made by the same guy who started the GTA franchise. But we'll have to wait for GTA 4, and see what it has to offer. Which is usually alot of fun.

I want to like them, but I just can't get into them. That said, I'm obviously in the minority and this is definitely good news for fans of the genre.
[QUOTE="NECR0CHILD313"]Why can't developers focus on good Single Player anymore?jukieukThis will be xbox downfall, to many games relying on online play which means to many short games. Wouldn't this affect the PS3 too, considering all the current ports from the 360, and how exclusivity agreements are going the way of the dodo, so nearly identical versions of all (almost) games will be on all the systems? The competing consoles aren't living in bubbles anymore, so how can this mean the downfall of just the xbox?
[QUOTE="NECR0CHILD313"]Why can't developers focus on good Single Player anymore?jukieukThis will be xbox downfall, to many games relying on online play which means to many short games. And PS3's downfall, among many other factors including a ridiculous price and pitiful development tools, will be the near lack of focus on anything online. Online gaming isn't as big in Japan, at least not yet, and Sony, being entrenched in that territory, has lost complete focus of the importance of online gaming to gamers on the other side of the pond. You could almost hear Hirai in the conference room at Sony..."Wait, these things go online? You mean, like computers?"
Yeah but if that reviewer speaks for a community it reflects badly on everyone.
Just imagine what the other sites are thinking.
